Posted: 9/2/2009 9:51:47 AM | tjm - you couldn't come up with a better insult, and I will be smacking you upside the head. Mixing up my beloved Stamps with a pesky lions logo. Will bring a shirt just to give you instruction on how much prettier the horse is!
I am thinking that there are some other fishers signed up - I know at least one & I think he has converted his honey into casting a line! I could probably be convinced to come along if my company were required (been years since I actually held a rod though) 
I took lessons at the last campout, and could probably be enlisted to assist with the ribs!
And it appears that wee wink has resolved all her excuses and WILL be coming!
What? It's only Wednesday?
Oh ya, and the daytime forecasts are beautiful, but those overnight lows... brrrr. Throwing an extra blanket in! | |

Posted: 9/2/2009 9:57:18 AM | NOTE : i have just been informed by the management that there are 2 older working fridges in the cookhouse and we are welcome to use them as long as we keep them clean so anyone that has food etc and no where to keep it they are there for our use!! Gold we will be your friends so don't be shy come on out we only nibble gently no biting allowed !!
Overnite lows are forecast 11, 9 and 10 but i am thinking if cooker brings those famouse jello thingys people will be warm all nite !! | |

Posted: 9/2/2009 5:29:19 PM | | i will have room in my fridge and even if i am not hooked up it acts as a big cooler with a coulpe of blocks of ice. i will bring extra blankets and be prepared for anything . i am disapointed there will not be a cake and someone jumping out of it. i have searched and cannot find a red bra but mayby value village. the golf clubs and balls are all washed up and ready to go.. .............. i think i have issues .............i probably will fit right in .lol | |

Posted: 9/2/2009 6:08:01 PM | One for sleep for me.. Out of the city tomorrow, stopping along the way will make it to Ft MacLeod Friday afternoon. Was a little worried tonight couldn't get electrical working on battery, shouldn't have left it from two weeks ago... Found it replaced fuse now all is working fine!!! Learned not to run the fridge on battery long..
Looking forward to meeting everyone, also packed a few small prizes in case we have winners at some of the games.. Castaline & Popcicletoes maybe we can find a fourth for playing some Euchre!!! Horseshoes packed!!
Now off to get food and mix for chocolate Martini's...

Posted: 9/2/2009 6:19:02 PM | Hey girls, we now have offcially gotten another guy volunteering to cook. Thanks BB. YESSSSSSSSS! (I knew they would but it just wasn't official until now). We may have to work overtime on the bends and stretches over the next few weeks to work off the extra pounds, but no one is allowed to be on a diet during one of our campouts. As cohost for this event, I just made that an official rule. The only other rule is EVERYONE must have barrels of fun.

Posted: 9/2/2009 7:10:31 PM | I am totaly ready for euchre campfires .... just bought the mix to make a round of slippery nipples each time someone gets a loner ( a tradition for camping euchre games) 
I am bringing a broccoli salad for the potluck. Since I am not bringing any camping gear I was planning on keeping it simple and bbqing myself some burgers or dogs if I can throw them on someones bbq. Instead if someone suspects they may have extra grub I wouldn't mind chipping in some $$$$ and doing the dishes. I'll even throw in a good back scratch if that helps  | |
