I look forward to going and with my sense of direction, I shall start out a few days earlier  These campouts are the highlight of the summer for me and hope i dont hear "FORE" and get hit in the head just kidding. so im am signed up and should be able to make it.    | |

Posted: 7/15/2009 8:01:27 AM | The number of signups starting to climb and there are several coming that haven't signed up yet so we are going to have a great time , the cookhouse is totally enclosed with a wood stove in the center with windows that can be open or closed so in the event of rain ( shhhh ) we are still good to go so lets party , Ok i had to promise not to sing at this campout !  | |

Posted: 7/16/2009 5:38:37 AM | Diesel, you mentioned a motel, what is the name and what is the rate, do you know? I have not camped in quite awhile, sleeping bag yes, tent no (egads, reminders of military), I would open up room for anyone who wants to shower, for a price, cost one drink, just had a thought, people see a lot of people entering a room might think something sinister going on, oh well, if they talk about us, they leave others alone. The weekend sounds like a fun time, any golfers attending that would like to golf on Sat or Sun or both? By the way, haven't seen you since the bash in Calgary at the Roads.

Posted: 7/16/2009 6:20:18 AM | Hey oldbutfine i have been to a few functions in Calgary but you were MIA lol the motel is called the Sunset phone number is 403-553-4448 i will email you privately the room rate and they know about the campout because i stopped in and asked about a price for showers but they have none only a room rate so they have no problem with people using a room for showers but i am sure there will be extra tents , last time we had 2 tents set up with no one in them for spares , 
There are also a couple campers with outside showers , mine has one and i have no problem with people using it ( i will hold the towel for the women )Hmmm special women can even use the shower inside !!!!! | |
