Let me get this straight..i can legally burn a flag in America, but i can't legally burn leaves outside of my house in my own township?

I think it is still constitutional to compost.

We dont need to agree with someone's reason to protest, just his right to do so.

This reply may be off the main topic but I feel a need to let you know that there are many who fought under that piece of cloth. Back in the 60's-70's many of us felt that our country needed us in a little country in SE Asia. Many of us felt that patriotism was honorable and good so we enlisted in our military. One of our first acts as soldiers was to swear allegiance to our government, our leaders and the flag which represents America. There were approximately 58,500 caskets brought home covered with that piece of cloth. Inside the caskets were men and women who believed in the flag enough to risk and loose their lives defending it and what it stands for. Yes, there were those who were unwilling participants in Viet Nam but not once in my militay career did I ever meet a soldier who was not inspired by the red, white and blue. To answer your question, I care and I served under it once again in Desert Storm. Please don't denigrate those of us who love the flag and what it stands for.

I hate...what they do to those families and the memories of our slain soldiers...I Hate it.

we hav to be consitant, if protestors to the Government are kept blocks away from where Politicians are or can see or hear protestors... than these graveside nuts can be moved as well...or if we have to allow graveside protests, then Politicians have to put up with some hecklers.

same rights for all or same restrictions for all...

...........................................................................

I would hope that all Americans fight to defend the Constitution before all else.
Not the flag, or bald eagle, or Statue of Liberty, or Washington Monument. No symbol of America...Just the Most importatant Document of Rights and Laws we Have.
