All the girl fishies dressed in a silk Toga being fed chilled grapes, spiked strawberries, drinking from gooblets, reclining on plush pillows, watching male dancers...........................sorry typing while dreaming.
Wrapped in a sheet, sitting at the bar, eating peanuts, drinking from the bottle, watching line dancing....

Now, if a couple cared to go elsewhere to undo the pins, that would be up to them. Or shall we make the leopard print bra panties and/or speedo's mandatory and again, who would be in charge of checking????
I am up for a toga party....Just need to figure where and when. Also.....Just thought of something......can my toga have sleeves to hide my arms lol. Don't mind clevage showing but hate the arms. | |

And just in case we're all around to see it come true (which I hope), to the original OP thread, I believe we'll get a steroid shot on our already-established enlightenment on or around 12-22-2012. Terran life will be fine 12-23-2012.
Also, I'm an amateur astronomer, that explains watching heavenly bodies on pof...& in-person, of course...the planetary alignment is a beautiful recurring thing, but the gravity over distance between the masses is too weak to cause anything catastrophic to any planet.
Unless you are basically immortal & can see it over time. Then It IS some Heavy Stuff!
But, not in our lifetime, kids. I predict a new Woodstock-type movement, and that's basically what we'll see. And that Is Good, naturally. | |

Posted: 8/11/2009 3:26:52 AM | Honestly, a lot of miscommunication. In the 2012 thread, I started the thoughts on the Toga party. At one point Jim offered to host and I said I would co host. The thread continued on and on, with me offering to help with Toga designs for some of the fish. Leslie was even in on some of the discussions.
When Leslie, started the designer thread, I thought it was to see how much interest there really might be with other fish to attend a Toga party. Until she mentioned hosting it herself.
As I said before, miscommunication and it happens on here all the time. I do not see why Diane, Leslie, Jim and myself could not host this all together. Considering all were in agreement to find a location more central for more people.
Here is an idea, we could get hosts from different areas of FL to host Toga parties on the same night.****Clark did that for new years, several locations at the same time. You know that is such a good idea, I think I will post it on both threads.
Ok FRIENDS and FISHIES can we come together on this? | |

After all there could be malfunctions of Togas, you know slipped pins, lost togas, not enough grapes, no one to play the harp or lute.
So I vote we have a practice Toga party 2009, 2010, 2011, that way all wrinkles in the Togas ( oh ya I am a wake) will be ironed out.

Just wish I had their bodies lol. But did give me some things to think about. I think I may be hitting the fabric store this weekend
Now, getting back to 2012. Since sometime after 2012, assuming that the chosen fishies are still around and partying.........how many battery packs will we need for the blender? Or does anyone have a solar panel so we can still produce our own power? | |

It is just funny that there are several cultures who's calendar stops in 2012 (per the history channel). Could it be they just got tired of marking it down past then???? I wonder if there will be the "how to survive" stuff out prior to then like there was for y2k??? | |
