Live within 75 miles. --- Not sure about this one
Must not have messaged users looking for intimate encounters or sex. ---- I messaged a girl because I liked her taste in music, and later found out she wanted raunchy sex.... and lived in the UK, now I can't message many women.
Must not be looking for Short-Term ---- thought this would increase my chances of meeting people, but must makes it so I can't message anybody.
Must not be looking for Other Relationship ---- I checked this box thinking it meant that I am also looking for friends.

Even if I am not interested in a relationship, pen pals and friends is always an option. I also like to let men know if I am interested or not. It's just common curtesy and respect. | |

I've had good responses, no responses, good at first then nothing type of responses and generally good chat. It is like a laundry list that women seem to print out in the profiles, I would say thats a bit of a negative but thats another thread im sure. I guess the only thing I could add to the thread is maybe she just isnt that into you. Sorry. It happens. If youre that sensitive get out of the game for a month or two and chillout and get some perspective. It might help. good luck though! | |

Posted: 3/9/2007 11:37:12 PM | I don't really understand what the big deal is! Sure it's frustrating not getting any responses, but it's not the end of the world. Don't take it to heart. If the person doesn't respond then they lost their chance with decent people. THEIR LOSS!
It's not like this is dating anyways. It's simple messaging that CAN grow into potential dates. That's all! :-) People are making this out to be more than it really is. lol
I decided to give this site a chance so I could correspond with people who usually don't travel in my circles. That's it. I really like meeting people face to face, and nothing will replace that.
If I don't get a reply...OH WELL!
Don't give up! There is really nothing to loose...and EVERYTHING to gain.

I am a single parent and I have taken care of myself and my daughter for many years without assistance from a man. As a matter of fact I just bought my first home without the help of any one. What I am finding though is that while most men may be judged on thier job and such women are judged on outward appearances. | |

Posted: 4/28/2007 9:31:08 PM | I have had a few woman from Flint respond to me and tell me they are too far away to date. The majority of the responses I get are from women 2-3 times farther away than Flint and they are willing to date. The women in Bay City do not respond at all.
So I don't just think that it is a Flint thing, it is a Michigan thing, apparently all of the women left in Michigan are all princesses and only deserve the best. :(
I think we should all move to Canada, the women there look like models and are friendly, they complain about the lack of good men there. Better yet we should just trade women. The frigid women would fit in better in the cold and Great White North and they might come to appreciate what they passed up here. | |

Yet when a honest caring person sends them a email , they read and dont delete but never reply.. Are they waiting for another one ? Trying to decide weather they should or not ? I find it to be rather rude , I know there has to be some cemistry for anything to happen beween anyone.. Fact is a simple reply would be sufficent, thanks but im jst not interested isnt any crueler than no reply at all .. And so now am I a jerk for saying so?  | |
