| best way to shave it? Posted: 7/23/2009 5:40:24 PM | At the salon I work at I charge $15 for a bikini wax so that's not expensive at all and it lasts weeks and weeks and the more waxing is done the less hair that grows in. If it's done regularly then it's not spreading legs to a stranger. I have regular female customers who come in for waxing. To minimize skin irritation cloth strips are used and prior to waxing I clean the area to be waxed with rubbing alcohol. Afterwards baby oil and powder are applied to minimize irritation and it works. I am extremely careful about the temperative of the wax itself so as not to burn a customer (never happened).
Shaving causes skin irritation, ingrown hairs, and it doesn't last as long as waxing.
I never recommend electrolysis as it's dangerous and damaging to skin.

It's like getting your eyebrows threaded, or waxed, in my opinion.
Just a regular appointment.

| best way to shave it? Posted: 7/23/2009 11:54:37 PM | I use a Gillete Fusion Power and regular shaving cream. Works fine for me. I have shaved a couple women the same way, no complaints. I have a friend who has the smoothest and cleanest mound I have ever seen. As far as I know, she shaves the same way I do. I know she does it a lot. The more you do it, the less irritation you will have.
To shave or not to shave is of course just a matter or personal preferance. For oral sex, the answer is obvious. You can also leave a little patch on the top, or a landing strip. I can see how it wierds some people out, but it doesn't bother me. To me, it's all in how you think about it. I think it's kind of sic to think of it like a child. I just think, wow I'm glad she shaves, or wow she does an awesome job shaving.

| best way to shave it? Posted: 7/24/2009 7:48:45 AM | The best thing is a clean blade and believe it or not lube. You'll get the cleanest shave that way. After rinsing off, use something to kill bacteria to reduce ingrowns.
Personally I like to epilate which his cheaper than wacksing (my key is broken) with the same results.

Sorry about your phobias... If you cant tell the difference between grown women and little girls... get professional help!
The rest of us can look at a woman with a shaved kitty and still see a grown woman, with a bit of a wild side!!! I would much rather see a woman with a shaved kitty, then one with gray mixed pubes poking out...

| best way to shave it? Posted: 7/24/2009 11:17:33 AM | | Totally and utterly do it while taking a shower or bath, you don't even need shaving cream because the blade will glide over the hairy area. I shave my butt hairs every other time I shower so it's smooth week after week (I'm serious) | |
|
| best way to shave it? Posted: 7/24/2009 11:23:01 AM | | Schick Quattro & Skintimate moisturizing shaving gel. Yes, it's a pink can - but it works better than anything else I've tried. | |

|
| best way to shave it? Posted: 7/24/2009 12:38:25 PM | | Regarding threading.....I don't do threading on customers although I know how to do it. Threading doesn't last as long as waxing so that's why. | |
|
| best way to shave it? Posted: 7/24/2009 12:47:19 PM | | OP: Get an electric shaver with the various attachments (i.e. for close shave, bikini line, etc....), and then lots of lotion. | |

I use tweezers and go one by one... all the while saying "she loves me... she loves me not"
Do you ever stick 'em back in and start over when you don't get the right result?

| best way to shave it? Posted: 7/24/2009 2:51:28 PM | | Some women opt to use lawn mower or a whipper snipper to trim their privates these days. They say its gets the task done quicker. | |
|
| best way to shave it? Posted: 7/24/2009 2:54:09 PM | I bought a Norelco Body Groomer for Christmas just for such a thing. For me, I like the comfort of the trimmed feel. Plus, the fact that the "jungle" is very thick and curly, it's the best thing to use for the chore. The new growth of the parts (penis, scrotum, etc.) can leave me very unhappy. So, it becomes really easy to put my body at ease, instead of grappling tiny hairs whenever I need to straighten my boxer briefs out.

| best way to shave it? Posted: 7/24/2009 9:19:00 PM | No razors ever...at least not for me. I prefer to nair it all; from the labium majora, working my way a bit inward to the labium minora then "clearing the path" to the anus. Again, this is my personal preference.
ps for a really nice finishing touch, apply baby oil gel as soon as you step out of the shower...
