Maybe this neighbour given his age is just so used to going to have a richard the 3rd
on his own open air throne that he doesnt see that there is anything wrong with it.?
Does he do his business at the same times every day?
You could take notes on what times he usualy likes to relieve his bowells
and therefore know when to avoid having to witness this spectacle and stay indoors.
There is always a solution to everything.

I dont have neighbours and my kids are all but grown up but if some bloke next door started the 'shi**ing in public' antics he would soon be brought down a rung or two....
As regards it being a 'private garden' then try looking up the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 2005 (as amended)
The offence is created by section 5 of the Public Order Act 1986:(amended 2005)
a
"(1) A person is guilty of an offence if he:
(a) uses threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, or disorderly behaviour, or
(b) displays any writing, sign or other visible representation which is threatening, abusive or insulting, within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress thereby." | |

there used to be an outhouse in his garden that was for use by both cottages and as it was written into the deeds the right remained even though the bog had long gone. bet he was careful not to upset his neighbour though :-) | |

I doubt there's even a shred of truth behind the tale but should there be, surely the first thing you do is call your local constabulary and ascertain the legalities of such actions and then secondly you take appropriate action... You either have the Police pay the gentleman a visit, or you put a bloody barrier up...
This man is having a poo!! He's not performing sexual relations upon an unsuspecting and underage goat!! He's not burying murder victims... Let's put this highly unlikely scenario into perspective... What do you actually see when someone goes for a poo? I can guarantee you don't see anything untoward should you walk in on me... I don't strip naked... I don't sit with legs spread wide and nether regions on display.. In fact I am pretty bloody demure when I use the toilet...You'd see my knees, an expanse of thigh and a rather shocked expression...
Screens!!!! Really simple, really cheap, really easy to put up... So screen it off or stop whining... Simples!!!!

The guy is using his outside bog, if you don't like what you see, you have two choices:
A) Ask him to replace his bog door.
B) Put up a higher fence so you can't see it.
Many houses still have outside loos, many older people still prefer to use them as they feel crapping indoors is unsanitary.
Asking for opinions in here is just a wind up, IMO. If you felt that strongly about it, you'd have done something. Anything would get you more practical advice than posting in here. As for the posters who advocate interfering with his bog, bear in mind that that would have the OP committing criminal acts.
