| Just a lil inspiration..... Posted: 5/9/2006 5:57:22 PM | That's all it usually takes....Right!!! Hey KM.....Thought I would drop this one off.......lol......and Run!!!
Truth is a harshness For a fair price paid... Judgment not a factor As Lies die and fade Many harbor them And wish them true Only to find the nothingness For which their feelin's imbue And some use hate Accompanied by deceit To destroy any others They just happen to meet Why is this what they seek? Who's nature have they made so weak? For them I have nothing Not even a whisper of thought Sightless is their truth as they deny Torture of another's soul I wonder why.... For simple twisted pleasure in they find To these are ones I pay no mind Never.....keep me down Your words on def ears found Try 'n' cut me to the core.... Ignorance....just your way All I'll offer is a smile to say " 'Cause to me...Your Thoughts...matters no more

| one I prepared before Posted: 5/9/2006 10:37:02 PM | 5387 Divinity Ever After 10 May 2006
When thoughts of you were a global transfix There was always tomorrow as if the tide was still to reach white sands of a heart walking forth
This freedom of bare toes upon feet footprints to ponder over been Your yesterday, another wave to break just know love was more than words
More than words to give scented upon those to desire Divinity ever after another one to taste
Fruit, nectar, flavour maid milk of kindness, reality borne When thoughts of you were in beauty a heart unable to escape, tranquillity
“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” John 15: 16 KJV

| one I prepared before Posted: 5/10/2006 9:03:54 PM | Although I didn't know it She was my role model for life And though I didn't always show it I loved her oh so much The hugs I took for granted The kisses sometimes not wanted Were given just the same.... With love Always ready to listen Always there...... The notes in school lunches Would tell me how much she cared And what she taught me Became a part of me I am so very grateful For this precious legacy When I look at my daughter.. Secure that she is loved I remember my mother And thank God I was her child
Sunday is Mother's day and I remember a woman who was your archetypal British stalwart......who lived in India and Africa, in the 1940's on, who was a true Colonial and who was kind to everyone regardless of colour creed or circumstance. I don't think I ever heard her say a nasty thing about anyone!!! She died in 1989 and I still miss her and her wacky sense of humour. I am who I am and I am the parent I am because of the lessons she taught me...most of which were subliminal! My childhood was privileged, but was also very happy because of my mother.....My relationship with my daughter is what it is because of my mother...."Mummy I miss you" A Happy Mother's Day to you all

| Hi guys!:)Happy early Moms day:) :) Posted: 5/11/2006 10:08:08 AM | While were paying tribute to all of the amazing women in our lives, heres a poem I wrote for my Grandmother who has since passed on.Ill try to find one of the ones I wrote about my Mom too
Spending time alone in the attic I try to touch my feelings They shrink away like paper tigers Trapped under water Black and white photographs Of someone elses memories Black and white eyes Cant quite capture the essence of the way Im told her she really sparkled Faint and distant memories of mine Fill in all her wonderful colors She had a Mona Lisa smile, and dark almond eyes like my mothers Posing in her light blue silk sunday dress The breakfast table where she sipped her tea With quiet ladylike confidence Her sincerity strength and love Somehow escaped the lens of the camera Technology missed her colors My imagination reaches out a timeless artists brush To fill them in where her life left off Someone will remember she sparkled that way She used to spend hours alone in the attic Looking through her hope chest The place her sacred memories rest Surrounding me in warmth Like a blue silk sunday dress As I reach to sip my tea With ladylike elegance Such tenderness, strength, and love I feel Yet it somehow seems to have escaped the lens of the world Technology has replaced so many of its colors I will fill them in with love as I go along I will remember

| Hi guys!:)Happy early Moms day:) :) Posted: 5/11/2006 10:16:06 AM | Here is a poem I wrote for my mother who passed away on March 17,2000 (St Pattys day) My mother was an inspiration to everyone whose lives she touched, which were many. She was my best friend, and grew the most exquisite flower gardens I had ever seen from tiny little seeds. Most importantly she was the most loving ,caring person I have ever been blessed to know.Even though shes no longer with me,her love was so strong for her family, that it will always be with us
Walking in the garden Moonflowers explode and fragrance the night Morning glorys Trumpet vines Capture the essence Of another time Someone elses footsteps Once decorated this place I close my eyes more tightly Im blinded by her grace She was the most beautiful One Ive ever seen Sometimes we hold hands Embacing in a dream Retracing footseps To the secret corners Of my mind back to a time When my mothers hand Held mine
(somehow my post was split up by the poem oops:)She taught me to appreciate the simple things in life and to always have a kind word for people, because we never know what someone else is going through.Anyway, hope yall enjoyed the poem..Have a great day,Kat

| she sings like an Angel Posted: 5/11/2006 12:57:01 PM | 5389 A Star that Shined 11 May 2006
Your beauty was a star that shined your voice, one that God touched To reach out and know He was true this Christ of Saviour within you
No understanding required in knowing this grace Ever beauty, ever all unto Christ upon her face
Captured to breast a child in swaddling clothes His heart was yours all true for no lie would he give
On this road, this path to will He knows you live Your beauty, that star that shined each night, each day, forever and eternal His love was your charity to in voice sing
“for Valerie-Lynn”
“And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.” Ephesians 5: 2 KJV
5391 Country Girl from Georgia 11 May 2006
Just a country girl from Georgia, U-S-A how true was that, for her beauty was more than Dallas, void of Texas to stay
With her eyes that shine, her heart so warm the voice of an angel added to her breath On this pathway of Cedartown to Atlanta this place of Georgia to the west, where Rome was another day
A starlit night rising to the moon if only to close your eyes in knowing this was home Spirits brought together in unity south of Nashville, this place of Tennessee
Like a union city, a world made small this love to give, miles to count The destination a peach to mount frames of a picture told in words of voice sing
“When I feel lost and so alone, trials and tribulations are plentiful Oh I just close my eyes and I am home.” lyrics: - “Whenever I Fall” written by Erin Simms (UK) vocals by Valerie Lynn, US singer/songwriter
Cedartown, Dallas, Rome, Union City and Atlanta are in the state of Georgia, USA. Nashville is in the state of Tennessee, USA

| she sings like an Angel and I know her true Posted: 5/11/2006 2:58:15 PM | 5393 Enlightening to Heart 12 May 2006
Each touch was summer those found deep within a soul This place of thunder of a heart an enlightening to share
As if love was a world away no one to mask the shade given Where was hope, if Christ did live this endurance unto God in living alive
Georgia upon a mind, its spirit never estranged another shadow linked a world away Destination the only journey to live forever this eternity in sacrifice
An address to balance, hope on hold such was charity to faith conquest To have fallen deep, deep into your soul as if prayers were all to know and for God in His heart to keep
“That was when I knew that I was falling yes deeply falling for you” ‘Deeply Falling:’ Lyrics and Music by Valerie Lynn, Georgia USA

| she sings like an Angel and I know her true Posted: 5/11/2006 7:35:05 PM | 5394 Valerie’s Psalm 12 May 2006
Could it be true this way in loving you A way of making tomorrow a brighter day a day of hope, a day of less sorrow just to be there
Just to be out in a world of loving you a world closer to a heart Ever stretched to distance not too far to endure
Could it be true would God answer a prayer Love was real although the distance would never be a bridge
How a heart can reach pain how a heart can be lit without fire A sun that never shines a soul left to repent
Dear God, why is this so why are you the one who withholds all truth Why Lord, why Christ I adore would it ever be true, that love would be known and known all because of you

5069 More Than a Friend 11 February 2006
She was beauty she was all She was every way she was more than friend
For who was she this mother and child A “Lindsay” -a poet U-S-A– born
Her heart the travels her soul the amber light Her “Center of Attention” the side of a highway to play
Cat and kitten - born to live She was beauty - her heart to give There was no question to who she was She was every way - she was more than a friend
America's foremost rhymer/designer, also known as the “Prairie Troubadour.” Nicholas Vachel Lindsay was born in Springfield, Illinois, 10 November 1879 and died in the home of his birth on 05 December 1931. During the 1920’s he was one of America’s most popular poets.
He was especially known for his beautiful art work that accompanied many of his poems and for his unique way of performing his poetry instead of just reading it. People also admired the “tramps” or walking tours he took throughout America, exchanging poetry for room and board. Young people today, were said to, seem to appreciate many of Lindsay's themes: his love for individualism, nature, and simplicity; and his hatred for hypocrisy and pettiness.

| To Wife and Mother on Mother's day Posted: 5/13/2006 7:22:28 AM | My darling mother I loved you so Why, oh why did you have to go? I'd lost the darling that I married If only YOU had stayed and tarried. But our dear God, he took you both you who bore me ...and she, betrothed My two beloved's who filled my heart received his calling, to depart. You both bore children...me to you and darling Myrna gave me two. Each mother's now within my heart Where love doth progress from the start Now that you are both in spirit, I try so hard...Yes really will it for you to come to me and say I'm here dear love, won't go away You were both mother's, that is proved But know my loves' that I am moved For now I know, maybe too late the love you gave...CANT CALCULATE. | |

"If death is the only means By which a secret to be revealed Coveted mystery the sealed lips hold In one just...sole pathway For which its divulgence can be Then deemed its worth be greater than gold Do confide if 'tis your wish Acceptance of this decision remains No intrusion of force has an effect by any intent But know truth in sought whole As forthright...and always to be kept My death for the knowledge....Fair trade for the content!"

| Memories of Mother Posted: 5/13/2006 8:30:50 PM | 5139 Memories of Mother 02 March 2006
One day like no other a day God in Him did decide This March forth of time so He took way a life in Mother
No regret to those days borne her motherhood an honour to child No promise to understand death to day of time decided
Her soul blessed in passing the summer cast to autumn in fall Precious and loved in waves of birth her beach sands of iron to silicon white
Memories never to char of smoulder embers of ashes to burial unscathed Her heart tempered in the cauldron of living laundered in God’s calling her home
“Heather Lillian Herbert (nee MacKay) 20 May 1926 - 02 March 2006”
“There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him. And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee. And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren? And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.” Mark 3: 31-35 KJV

| Mother of Naomi Posted: 5/14/2006 4:30:09 AM | 5399 Mother of Naomi 14 May 2006
She was Libra’s child in all her beauty to name A woman of hazel eyes in wonder to proclaim
Her heart of kindness her faith forth to endure A mother in all of caption so pure
Mother of Naomi her voice of Sierra Sunshine in state memories to share
Libra’s child, a sign of the scales This woman of kindness her heart across a globe to bare
Libra the seventh Sign of the Zodiac (The Scales - 24 September to 23 October) is the only inanimate sign of the zodiac, all the others representing either humans or animals. Libra (Latin for balance) is a constellation of the zodiac. The great strength of the Libra-born is their quest for fairness, peace and harmony.
The girl's name Naomi is pronounced ‘nay-OH-mee’. It is of Hebrew origin, and its meaning is “pleasant.” Biblical: an ancestress of Jesus and mother-in-law to Ruth, who after her sons died, said, “. . ., Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me.”, (Ruth 1:20 KJV) Mara is a name given to Naomi by herself, which means ‘bitter’, or ‘very sad.’ The name came into English-speaking use in the 18th century. Noémi (no-AY-mee) is the Spanish form.
The girl's name Sierra is pronounced ‘see-ERR-ah’. It is of Spanish origin, and a sierra is a word from the Spanish language meaning a mountain range. The word literally means “saw”. It is used for various mountain ranges in Spanish-speaking or formerly Spanish-speaking countries. The Sierra Nevada is a mountain range in the eastern portion of the U.S.A state of California. The range is also known as The Sierra or The Sierras.
