Through the lens I see perfection Black and white frozen stillness Everything becomes eternal In my eyes.. And through my vision True loves recognition,or a babys first breath That can never fade away Not even after death Never again will a moment die Never again a good bye Nothing can fade away,or become a distant memory Time is no longer the enemy When things are captured forever Holding our thoughts in an intricate web Thats woven together A tapestry of photographs a quilt of forever Living breathing dreaming art Frame by frame Frozen still A dream within a dream My black and white world fullfilled All is is frozen in perfection still Captured in sweetest affection According to an artists will When through my camera lens Your dreams are bathed in light again

| what a picture said to me Posted: 7/22/2006 6:13:34 PM | 5547 Eyes to Love 23 July 2006
Inside those eyes there was a heart Her place of warmth so sweet Inside her eyes was this love that place where happiness did dwell
Her kind, her certainty, her passion each line, every sentence of her heart That focus between her lips the smile upon her face
Inside those eyes was another world to discover of a place where to sun and moon did meet For there was no darkness, no battles void inside her eyes, this place of love A happy place to find and enhance
Just to surrender, and ponder in thought her eyes, her happiness, her warmth so sweet This place to know it was safe, safe at last would it ever be, inside her eyes, a place to love
“Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.” Isaiah 33: 17 KJV

| Just doing a little late night writing again:)spontaneous stylin Posted: 7/22/2006 11:14:17 PM | Billowing curtains hold the southern summers at bay Our thoughts slumber in shadows just beyond the realm of day Are we meant to dream in this vivid and wanderlust way My barefoot steps wander down these hallowed halls I leave no footprints as my memory calls You reach out to touch my face,as if its porcelain will break But it seems for now only my childlike heart is at stake On nights like this sometimes I wonder if angels will fall instead of stars So peace can find its rightful place in this chaotic world of ours But it seems they never do,so how did heaven come to rest inside of you Im amazed sometimes at the brilliance I find when I explore the attic of your mind Like long lost buried treasure ,these long awaited dreams I find The deep and cavernous thoughts at the depths of azure youth You understand the endless possibility and the faith thats found in truth I wonder if Im meant to really love so unabashedly this way So naked in the summer window of reality today | |

I watched the artists painting come to life over the years Composed of indigo, the colour of his deepest fears The crimson of excitement,of all thats yet to come The emerald of enlightenment as morning light succumbs To the blackness of nightfall and the coming of the stars The purple melancholy of Venus, and the Mystery of Mars Such magical enchanment from his pallette made As stunning as a miracle upon canvas conveyed All the beauty of one life unlocked within this artists hands Captured in one timeless image of all one life can span

5548 To Canaan with Love 23 July 2006
Would it happen would God’s love shine down This place of reality and this love in her found
Could it be, or was this too big of a request This understanding as if God does know best
A prayer to heaven a prayer to see her face A prayer of her beauty and the sum upon her grace
Would it happen could God in His love shine down To look into her gentle eyes and know this was love of her sound
“ARISE, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.” Isaiah 60: 1 KJV

| Just wrote this one Posted: 7/23/2006 1:27:38 PM | Hey Kat...
Home again and glad to be in A/C...SO hot in the UK and NO air....
A solomn day and yet a celebration Veterans of my homeland Clad in blue blazers Standing to attention Medals glinting in the sun Worn on chests now frail but still proud Each of them saluting a comrade now gone The standard....dressed with a black ribbon The Union Jack draped over his coffin The sound of an Italian tenor singing Tears came unbidden Memories in time frozen And the wake..... Was awesome Speeches and stories and songs... "What shall we do with the drunken sailor?" Sung by non other than me and my sister! He would have approved Especially of the 50% proof rum!!!!!

| Yay for road trips:) Posted: 7/23/2006 10:01:57 PM | The sun filtered down in cascading waterfalls Slipping softly through the dense green forest Upturned leaves caught a breath of Southern wind And fluttered skyward like worshipping butterflies As we shared a picnic in the grass, our laughter echoed in the meadow The mountian road wound the hours away, beckoning us to stay Its was such a lovely day to be at play with you this way We filled your summer hat with blackberries to the brim We didnt have a bowl so we just picked them on a whim I loved to watch your golden curls sparkling in the sun We put daisies behind our ears and ran barefoot just for fun A lazy porch swing cat greeted us and we meandered on our way We fed a bunch of cows a pile of road side hay Ill always remember us laughing this way We laid on top the car and your stuffed animals came too Theres no place id rather be then right here with you My lovely little daughter ,if you only knew Memories like this well always cherish when the day begins anew We may not have the luxuries that so many others do Sometimes barely getting by,but we have enough for two Ive always considered us so lucky its true because of lazy hazy days like this I get to share with you | |

| Everyone else is sleeping, but here I am writing:) Posted: 7/23/2006 10:26:14 PM | A poem for my honey:)I love you ...mwah!
The stars reflect upon the summers gone by The clouds weep in raindrops as winged night birds fly What a perfect place for the love of you and I Can we stay here forever your skin is so warm A soft whispered promise on your lips now takes form I kiss your words and then,we drink eachother in again Your heart mesmerizes and moves me like a sunrise A tranquil reflection Waltzes in your eyes Beyond mere melody,my love its rhapsody In all of the languages lovers can say We need no utterances so we silently stay Just holding on this way,as night blends with the day Your arms are like branches in a cradling tree That made me feel safe as a child you see The innocence in me,and here my heart is free I cant help but rejoice in these feelings weve found Like a bound ballerina finally coming unwound In magical wonderous ways, with you my heart will always stay We neednt promise forever ,for now time doesnt matter Sometimes restrictions can cause love to shatter When we speak them in a voice,we stay of given choice Youre not only my lover but my dearest friend We wont break eachothers hearts, because we know how to bend Its such a perfect blend,as the year melts into summer again

| A poem for my honey:)I love you (just not Kat - lol ) Posted: 7/23/2006 11:13:36 PM | 5552 Kisses for Some 24 July 2006
As the stars light the sky and the moon takes a peak There was our love in wishes of desire to keep
Every night, those thoughts of you my baby in the woods of collaboration This place of a journey, a journey of hearts each breath a new foundation to ponder
For where was hope, this charity of love an amour in faith to future events Holding hands and sharing kisses in the sun the poet and his muse of debonair being
Eyes closed, impatient times ahead for why was this so hard to openly endure Her heart, her beauty of verdite to golden stone, finding a rainbow, a place of hearts to shine Was there a reason, and would there be time

| im back Posted: 7/24/2006 3:17:29 AM | All I see is familiar places Strange faces with worn down features Peculiar creatures Constantly going threw there morning rituals Their tears falling into the grass How long will their pain last How can you look forward to tomorrow with such sorrow? Never hang your head Do you find it hard to tell me? Do you think it is a little strange? The one thing you love so much Also fills you with so much rage Line up with all the masses No social classes The perfect world Feel like a child again Sit and miss me Do you feel happy? Take it all in stride Our worlds will collide It will be an interesting ending So as I sit here thinking Me emotions never show Is what I feel real? Or just something to put on for show Do you think it is funny? Perhaps a little sad I find it hard to tell you Perhaps I never can These feelings I have inside me Are the best I ever had Maybe that is just a little sad | |

| Everyone else is doin it....I want a thread too lol Posted: 7/25/2006 3:40:30 PM | Some great writes on this thread. Very good indeed. Good job to all of you.
How can I say the words that need saying When you won’t stop playing the games that you’re playing Who can I turn to when you are gone I don’t enjoy this feeling of being alone
Tenders words I spoke falling on deaf ears Brave intentions where once there were fears Still I don’t want you to leave, please do stay Sit down and listen to the words that I say
I still love you now more than ever before I forever wait for you to walk through the door Hey baby, I’m home, a phrase that I long to hear And a sweet smile as you hold me so near
Say something, please don’t stand there not talking Turn back away from the door that you are walking Please just have a rest, say what you’re thinking Talk to my heart nonstop without ever blinking
I can not help but love you, I know I’ve tried Even though it hurts and real tears I’ve cried Say one more time, that you still love me I need to hear it once more, even if dishonestly
Tell me once more before you walk out the door That you really care even though it’ll be lies like before I need to hear it really just one more time And to feel your body once more closely hold mine
Then we can part and be on our ways And live apart for the rest of our days

| In a corny mood Posted: 7/25/2006 6:06:36 PM | A summer day, A moonlit night, A bottle of wine, And you make it right,
I long for the day, To feel your touch, To kiss your cheek, And bathe in your sight,
The day draws so near, And so far away, The love I dont know, But wish for to stay,
Anticipation grows, With each waking hour, You've got me entrapped, In your sensual power,
If this moment, Can last a lifetime, Then a lifetime with you, Is a moment in my mind.
I had somewhat of a corny type of romantic feeling tonight. But I am more and more impressed by what I read here. It gives me so many ideas, so thank you all. Hugs, Kisses, and Butterfly Wishes.

| Everyone else is doin it....I want love too Posted: 7/26/2006 2:59:48 AM | 5556 Adoration Unkempt 26 July 2006
To surrender and hold fast to her love this weekly desire of a daily dream Unable to walk upon water yet faithful in ways kind
Such beauty her eyes do reign the sweetness of a smile Upon a heart all open to serine, what has been, as if meaningless until that of tomorrow’s dawn
Many years, a lifetime to endure but of sadness in finding loves delight Still those barriers do persist and even faith cannot destroy them as yet
Such sorrow, and sable regret for who made it this way Just to surrender, arms held out to gather in her kindness and reap no more
“. . . If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Matthew 17: 20 KJV

| Everyone else is doin it....I want a thread too lol Posted: 7/26/2006 1:53:06 PM | alis kat--Thank you for your kind words. I am glad that you enjoy reading what I write. And thanks for the welcome. "I'll be back" again to check the thread out. There are some really good writes posted here by truly talented people. Yeah, a few people suggested that posting a pic would make the words more personable and I saw the point of view. Now, if I can only keep my pic posted LOL.
Sit for a moment, tell me what is wrong Listen to my poem, sing your heart a song Words never soft enough, to tell you how I feel This heart is ever growing, from the love inside that’s real
The deepness of the universe never could contain All the caring inside of me, forever will it sustain A touch upon your beautiful face I hope to reach your soul And light inside a fire for you to burn wildly out of control
No need to extinguish the flames within, feel the burning in your heart And know that I burn for you also, let’s let love do it’s part Forever is not long enough that I will be true For your’s is the truest love my heart has ever knew
Infinity is a word to use for my trust and faith in you And your eyes speak so lovingly, as you love me through and through Together we will walk this Earth, two hearts melted into one And by your side I’ll forever reside, until our time on Earth is done

| inspiration, when all told Posted: 7/26/2006 4:34:18 PM | Kat, I read a poem that you posted in another thread, and this is what I found myself writing as a result
5558 When all Told 27 July 2006
To ignore her love or just walk away As if she is under my skin so here within my heart to stay
Not lost, never without love for eternity was a long time But would it be, her place to own an outlook on the horizon, in being fine
The text of a letter her smiling face in a photograph Those gentle words she does write this conscience to withhold
A tale, a story, a lie the truth only God made To ignore such love and this freedom when all told
“And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.” Genesis 37: 9 KJV

a poet who cares
When here is one I wrote yesterday, after reading a poem d-belle wrote
5554 Woman and Man 26 July 2006
Was there love in a message the one with her name assigned That beauty of her being another day to dream
Would there be hope to ponder or was this a lost dream held awake Gone as to nativity, a future to enhance would there ever be another, of times to dance
Holding her near enough to breathe just to savour in her tranquil aroma Wafting scent, a perfume of amour some call it love, but only God can decide
Approaching heaven, to not be alone truth or a further lie in distant count Just to know, just to understand for whom created woman and man
“And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” Genesis 2: 18 KJV

| Not I Who Cares Posted: 7/26/2006 6:32:28 PM | In a world where people die, People cry, people starve, And people lie, Who will turn their back today, Not I who cares,
When your brother, sister, Friend, or stranger, Asks for help, Who will turn their back today, Not I who cares,
If you are down, Needing someone, To talk, to love, Who will turn their back today, Not I who cares.
Hugs, Kisses, and Butterfly Wishes.

| Paeon To The Sun Posted: 7/26/2006 7:16:20 PM | Paeon To The Sun
Call me Icarus. His daddy warned him-- No doubt Daedelus was remembering someone Like you, So why did he give his boy Those wings?-- But maybe Icky saw some fire still there In Dear Old Dad's eye, Maybe just a twinkle, The memory of a star now far away That he once knew. And for a long time did I not worship at a distance, Keeping my feet on the ground? But your gravity was pulling at me, Raising me ... Mornings I would lay upon the lawn, Your yellow corona spreading above me, Lifting me like the dew. And when the time came, Did I not fly to you? I flew. I flew. Your arms flared open and surrounded me In a hot embrace that Threatened to melt me down To my essential Desires. But this was no warm welcome, No, no, a hunger to devour and consume, To flay me with your fire, The liquid burn that pits my flesh, The magnetic storm that chars my bones. And even your hands have mouths, And sometimes teeth ... And I am sacrificed To your voracious love, Till there is only left A scattering of ash Cooling in your outer reaches. But after an age I drift, I fall back Into your hellish heaven To burn in Paradise, To be the fuel that feeds your heat, your heart, And know all the smoldering naked secrets Of fusion. And as I rise again, You call me ... Call me Phoenix, Who knows now that the wait-- Was it only a thousand years?-- Was worth it. You will never be just a twinkle in these eyes, But the fire inside Slaying me, Animating me. Nothing is ever lost, Only changed, transformed, The single point of fusion ... The single tear of love.
