| Have a spiffy, super nifty day everyone :) :) Posted: 8/1/2006 8:53:21 AM | Suspended forever in time Missing those moments so sweet and sublime Day breaks, and makes a memory of it all As summer reluctantly gives way to fall Unforgiving is the chill But brilliant are the colours As painted trees sway frozen still With the dying of another day I listen to the wind And marvel as the world sways One lonely leaf hangs on Where are the summers I once looked upon Shades of cold metal grey Have stolen them away Rain taps me on the shoulder And reminds me to dream Maybe the world isnt as cold as it seems To look at it I might think so But that was long ago In the pages of another book A memoir,of paths I never took The dreams I never gave a second look But I hang on Like the one lonely leaf Silently sanctified by a sense of relief The door closes behind me As I begin to look ahead look Some things are more beautiful Left to our memories instead | |

Like some angelic prism I held up to the light Examining your hues Like a rainbow taking flight Admiring the brilliance Of your colour woven web Flowing like a painted river that never seems to ebb Such prismatic giftings This world has bestowed upon you I hope will paint your heart in strength And joy always surrounds you :)

Didnt we do this before Caught in lifes revolving door Gazing down the sidewalk cracks Searching for the days Now painted smog smoke black The buildings on the horizon Reach heavenward and block the sun This city limit lifestyle Now somehow seems so worn Like a diary forgotten Its pages bent and torn I miss the country choir of crickets I miss how they made me feel reborn Running barefoot in this river Of a life meant to flow for someone else Im a sunset on horizon Of my former slowly setting self

AS for you above poem, that is sure some spiffy writing Kat.
5575 Poet—Unplugged 01 August 2006
Crumpled sheets folded scent A moment beyond dream
Empty eyes open heart Plugged in denial of depart
Morning after that time of regret Or the reality of a night never to forget
Crumpled sheets soft and amour Then comes the time their daughter will be four

| Have a spiffy, super nifty day everyone :) :) Posted: 8/1/2006 5:13:29 PM | Kat--You brilliance shows through again, as your kindness always shows. Great writes as I enjoyed them tremendously.
Inside the bitterness that is the concrete jungle The place where hopes and dreams are made and broken Deep inside the hustle and bustle of life There stands a tree unseen and of it, a word not spoken
Living a solitary existence Only the diminishing hopes of staying alive Feeling isolated and left alone Remembering the bright and sunny days once he thrived
Dreams of old and thoughts of bold When children climbed and played And limbs were strong and roots were long This is where the children stayed
In came man with machines and tools And built the city to prosperity And now the tree stands alone unnoticed Filled with sadness and humility All that lies in his eyes that cry Is the occasional ray of light from the sun As the leaves are dying for his last season He weeps so sadly for he knows his end has come

To all those Carri’s I have loved before The one’s I didn’t know
To that heart made warm her beauty in waves to adore A happiness, a soul silence of fear To this love, her desire a lifetime of fullness in a year
To this one girl by the name of Carolyn Just because a human can race Does God truly let being win
To the love of a life then maybe another rhyme comes next But was it right to consider such thought given how that would be in outcome of text
“But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.” 1 Corinthians 7: 33 KJV

memories harden when theyve had time to dry Softened by the sunlight, tears and sighs Just like an artists clay The words we say the painted lies Exist beyond the day The moulding of souls So grey and entangled Spinning on a wheel At the mercy of anothers hands Their vision becoming more real Then kilning your heart The fire it seers till theres nothing left to feel tears are the glaze That cover the soul and make it all so real You may have had your own vision for me But mines only just begun As I rise just like a phoenix And waltz into the sun

| inspired by two Posted: 8/3/2006 1:34:10 PM | Some one said to me some wonderful words in relation to floodgates and flow, only my heart was in two places at the time, and this was what came out, when those gates did indeed open
5580 Knight of the Moon 03 August 2006
As the floodgates open upon a magical world A place of love and lightening to strike this amour and where it stands heavenward to promise
An entry, a toll paid that fee of eternity This love of feeling a deafness never silent
As across a globe the sun does indeed shine A lamp light of faith upon a darkened void
For love was charity faith was in her to savour This day of being, a reign of passion words, or understanding Either way, all simply carried upon the knight of the moon
“Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.” Psalms 148: 3 KJV

And in honour of you above poem Kat, I feel I should add this one here as well, that I prepared earlier
5581 The Artist 03 August 2006
The artist, the picture, the painter the picture upon the page Each day, each year another brush stoke to paint
Water and oil, acrylic in the colour red Each moment to think, as the pigment upon canvas does drink
Splashes of blue colours of gold A rainbow upon paper the tale of the artist, all told
The picture, the painter this medium called art Each day, each year another brush stoke to paint
“The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place: from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape.” Pablo Picasso (1881 - 1973) Spanish Cubist painter

5583 A Mighty River 04 August 2006
Once there was an Ontario a river of ancient flow As to an abridgement to those glaciers to create
When a thaw became warm and lakes in droplets formed Greater to the vision God placed in provincial state
Huron to the west Ontario to the east While Superior did stand high upon heights of Erie
Lake Saint Clair and Detroit, Michigan For once there was a mighty river the Ontario to flow

| spontaneous at least Posted: 8/3/2006 6:56:02 PM | Looking at the man she once loved Trying to figure out what went wrong That special place in her heart Now seems like he doesn't belong A hole now remains in her heart Where his love once resided But one day it will heal When the pain has subsided She kisses him one last time To see if that spark remains But it vanished and she walks away As her heart tears from all the strains She can't stop the tears that flow And she can't bare to turn back | |

Masterpiece painted on a paper sack Using washable finger-paint Eloquence hidden beneath simple words Misspelled name does not the picture taint
A smile as lovely as a cool breeze On a hot summer’s day Eyes that promise a love forever More truthful than words can say
A touch that comforts the body And brings peace into the soul An embrace that brings security As tears flow out of control
True beauty hidden beneath the make-up Soft skin with dreamed-of complexion Masterpiece painted of pure heart and beauty Only the flaw of immortality prevents perfection
A child with dirty fingers Paint smeared across his nose A patient mother running late for work Posing for a picture before she goes

Your words wash over me in waves of tranquility Turquiose and brilliant crashing brightness The sunlight filters in ...lustrious and inviting Against my skin...Our thoughts blend Together like pieces of a puzzle...connecting end to end One by one we reach the place Where understanding has been quietly slumbering Undisturbed for years This is the place Ive hidden all my fears Pice by pice they come unbound At the bottom of an ocean of promises Faling all around Your thoughts wash over me in waves Of understanding The sheer joy of it all Breathes new life into me You can see what I see A kindred soul who understands Take my hands And kiss my dreams Reality is so much more than it seems And silver stars Crash against the sandbar Built to keep the ships at bay What did you say? I hold a seashell to my ear Words like a whisper become more clear And my love for you Bathes me in sweet nectared silence Crashing like waves of undertstanding Washing away all the pain Thats now so far behind us The lighthouse beckons in a songbirds cry Like a beacon in the distance A place of sweet nirvanna As you and I playing ,splashing in this ocean So filled with peace and loves devotion We immerse in rhythmic seaswept emotion

| "Let them eat cake" famous quote du jour:) Posted: 8/5/2006 9:25:05 AM | Cake lyrics~never there
I need your arms around me, I need to feel your touch I need your understanding, I need your love so much You tell me that you love me so, you tell me that you care But when I need you baby, youre never there
On the phone long, long distance Always through such strong resistance First you say youre too busy I wonder if you even miss me
Never there Youre never there Youre never, ever, ever, ever there
A golden bird that flies away, a candles fickle flame To think I held you yesterday, your love was just a game A golden bird that flies away, a candles fickle flame To think I held you yesterday, your love was just a game
You tell me that you love me so, you tell me that you care But when I need you baby Take the time to get to know me If you want me why cant you just show me Were always on this roller coaster If you want me why cant you get closer?
Never there Youre never there Youre never ever ever ever there

| A parade of emotions says it best:) :) LOL Posted: 8/5/2006 3:10:20 PM | 5587 Verdite Angel 05 August 2006
She was a verdite angel a pendant carved in love The most beautiful in nature her beauty all factored from God above
A verdite angel, in her colour of polished green Her beauty, her understanding her heart, in all kindness to bare
Sure, they call it love yet was love always fair A feeling of love a desire of wanting to share
A verdite angel, carved as if in stone could this be love, was love true Just to know, just to pray within a heart and whisper those words to her “I do love you”
Verdite: (A variety of Fuchsite) Fuchsite is a dark green variety of muscovite. It can have a wonderfully dark emerald green colour that can have a beautiful sparkly shine if the crystals are small. It is often found in compact masses with small crystals. The green colour is the result of chromium impurities.
Verdite is the trade name for a green ornamental stone, primarily an impure Fuchsite mica originally from North Kaap river, Kaap Station, South Africa. And consists primarily of Fuchsite with minor Albite, Chlorite Group, Corundum, Diaspore, Margarite, Quartz, Rutile and Talc.

| A parade of emotions says it best Posted: 8/5/2006 3:49:46 PM | 5588 Enlightened Hearts 05 August 2006
When two hearts meet across a universe when those hearts beat in a rhythm as one Words only words, those of a poet to seek those words, whispering of love this love and the desire to seek
When two hearts climb that ladder of love And both meet on the wing those words of love both hearts do sing
For could it be love an effect stolen over time When clocks bare another name this was love, or just a word in rhyme
When two hearts, unite to pray and their words are in unison borne Would this be true to endure an enlightenment to understand of two hearts, across a universe pure
The Prophet Joseph Smith (1805-1844) taught: “When you climb up a ladder, you must begin at the bottom, and ascend step by step, until you arrive at the top; and so it is with the principles of the Gospel—you must begin with the first, and go on until you learn all the principles of exaltation. But it will be a great while after you have passed through the veil before you will have learned them” (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, selected by Joseph Fielding Smith [1976], 348).

Like mother and child daughter and son From that first day of birth to each day as one
To take in the scent and ponder in growth This love so strong unified in ways borne
For was it only love that could answer Those words sweet to hear this love created in being
His eyes, her heart a child’s beating breath Heavenly, oh so heavenly until separation remains
“Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them.” Proverbs 5: 6 KJV

Love envelopes us like the wind Its hard to tell where it begins Leaving gentle traces upon skin As the day is wearing thin Cloaked in a new face This romantic grace Counted in heartbeats and precious feats The things that lovers overcome Before the rising of the sun You wear pleasure with a smile As we talk a while Beneath entangled sheets Eyeleashes flutter like butterfly wings That coquetish look means many things And draws you near,so free of fear Your hands saturate me in memories Of the day we first met We hadnt touched eachother yet But our souls had long ago embraced In recognition of eachothers face From some long lost distant shore Id seen you there before At the edge of my nightscape dreams Your every bit as real it seems And now Im falling yet once more As love unlocks this precious door
