5636 The Iron Maiden 22 August 2006
Her heart was like gold yet cold and hard to find A precious metal, soft to touch yet as steel, in this iron rod to hold
Her soul was enriched as to the land of Canaan she did live Her name was beauty in the eyes of God but who stole her heart, as to the Midas touch
A steam engine, a train transformed on rails this Tania of Ontario, did she care or were words, those to give in another way Time taken, this love gifted in amour no wonder there was a lock, upon the heart of her door
Secrets told, affection given but what of her, a maiden of iron Maybe she would never know love for did she understand what that was to give

Somewhere in Ontario was a heart’s breath Each understanding each silent pause The rising, the sound the softness of her breast
Beauty had a name then so did she A name to treasure a name to triumph Her name so fitting for her name was all beauty could be
Tania, sweetness Tania, divine Tania, your heart so warm Just to hold you, just to reach out Somewhere in Ontario, there you were The rising, the sound the softness of your breast
Virtual arms reaching out in knowing Tania was reaching back

Blue chamber
I see you there, Arms open wide. Swirls around your dark, nebulous soul.
You attempt to avoid These eyes. Sinking, you touch the sweet scent.
Orchids, Surround you, Astounded you. Their light, their colours burn your eyes.
You pull back, Receding into darkness, your chamber of protection.
The light prevails. Again, Your fingers ache feeling it’s warm glow.
There you sit, As in a painting, light bouncing in shadows.
Dancing particles, Of white heat, Indigo pearls Swim in your blood
The taste of ambrosia On your tongue, The scent, of a lover gone.
Images you see, Holographic rainbows, You swallow Like smiles that taste Of kisses on your tongue

I guess I love poetry because others have felt the pain from within that I feel within sometimes and do not know how to express it. I find comfort in reading such talent in poetry.

5639 Love’s Reach 24 August 2006
I built a fence, one my father made Wires rusting, corrosion set in Yet who would understand what fifty seven years would do
Reconstruction, that surgery of the mind each strand replaced, all in another line But unlike a story book unable to regain
Time had walked upon the land the old replaced by the new An alternative to tomorrow however both love neither the same
One bride passing, the other to coming looking for love, tranquil to desire Not to fence love in only to know love was within reach
The poem relates too and marks my own completion of a fence I constructed on my father's farm. Perhaps only a ordinary farm fence, with timber for posts and wires strung in between. Only this recent project, started on and completed by me over the past few weeks (and 24 hours), replaced a fence my own father built in 1949. The significance being at the time my Father had created his fence, this was shortly after he was married in May 1949.
Now the fence my father constructed 57 years ago, is no more, as I pulled down what remained and in its place, created my own version, of a new fence to take place of the old. Also although planned for many months, and only just completed, in the life of this project. In the midst of this my Mother died in March 2006.
While I am single, never been married, and still seeking that day of my own, should love truly cross my path. A friend of mine (of the overseas, on-line variety and found through the pages of these forums) said to me, perhaps this new fence with be an omen. I can only but wonder, will my own memorial of time, be just another fence, to contain the stock within it realm, or is this a symbol of a new tomorrow.
and this one is some thing else again, perhaps too much daily fish mail to some people results in this kind of outcome. Then I have been told never to deny my inner-voice, its right to speak out
