Big decision.............and escape with my life.....hmmmmmm. What are our rights to protect ourselves anyway??

Dunno, but if it's someone invading your home & they happen to die while you defend yourself it may be just your story against their story. If some stranger is coming in thru my window I'm not going to take the time to ask them if they are armed, I'll assume they are & act accodingly... baseball bats are handy.

I suppose if they aren't armed, I could take a knife from my kitchen & place it in their hand after I stop them; there have been cases of unarmed criminals breaking into houses then arming themselves with a knife from the kitchen, the reason being if they are caught while breaking in they aren't armed so their charges are less severe.

Btw, whadda ya mean "die at the hands of some psycho........or maim him.." ? That's sexist, there are female psychos too

Ok i've had about enough of this, quit referring to armed robbery as someone with a gun. We have enough trouble holding onto our hunting rifles and such now without everyone crying gun when they hear the words armed robbery. There are far far more armed robberies committed with a weapon other than a gun and just as deadly.

The fact remains that the only lasting solution is a complete reversal of the attitude of mainstream society. It is not impossible just improbable. How many years has it taken for us to progress this far, now to try turning things around. The task is phenomenal. But isn't this what we asked for when we decided to do away with family and community to focus on self and individual right over the greater good? It's that equal and opposite action/reaction thing in action.
We teach our kids and each other that we can do as we wish unhindered and with impunity. We demand this as a right without concern for the consequence our choices may have on others. I am not my brother's keeper! The crimminal element are doing the same thing and if it is only a little illegal then it is condoned and even encouraged (income tax fraud). Why do we suddenly become so filled with righteous indignation when we feel slighted? That is the only time we push for enforcement of the laws. The rest of the time we want to eliminate the law so we can have more individual freedom. We can't have it both ways, as you are beginning to see. Don't worry though, it will de worse before it gets any better.
Lordy it looks like i'm writing a book or something. Best leave now.

LoL.....

I'd like to know what the postal codes are where some of these soap boxers are from....

It's all safe and sound in their hood ! That same night , within hours or the same time... three guys were arrested in a "local" bar... "packing" ... then some poor stoopid arse tries to rob block buster not knowing half of the cops in the city were just three blocks away at club 13 ! Lol

FYI... I was coming home from the cavaliar and was already tramatized... ( hot friend I was with had a dike moment ! ) then all those cops .. yikes i thought !

Then I hear an acquaintances' wife was talking to that women when she just dropped and bled ..... so sad!

Haha, Wolf Woman i don't worry about the captain girlie girl and her ilk. She's still just a whelp, maybe when she matures she will carry some weight with me.

Edjoecdn, I live far far away from any city for a reason. Science showed years ago that if you place too many rats in a cage they will start to kill one another off, i don't see us as any better. I tried city life and despised it. Any person who lives where they don't want to be can easily move.

All in all it really is too bad things have to be the way they are.

The weak ones first tho; here the system work to protect the rights of the criminals so we have the legal system and the criminals to contend with.

CaptainGirlyGirl

Which could very likely result in charges of carrying a concealed weapon, possessing a weapon dangerous to the public peace, and other weapons related charges.

WolfWoman

In fairness, CaptainGirlyGirl's comments might be construed as a warning.
And they are correct, as far as they go.

She did not offer an opinion as to whether or not they were right in a social (or any other) context, simply that charges were possible.

I don't see that the jab was necessary.

Tin Man.......has a crush on Girly girl!! Aww that is sooooo cute.

Are you a newbie here? You'll find that everyone on here gets a razzing at some point on the forums. Juss wait, it'll be your turn soon! Oh wait, I just did it.....ok.........next!!

Dano.......yeh that is such a good idea!! Have a copy of that registry......"hold on man, what's your name?".

WHERE IS THE HUMANIIIIIIIIITYYYYYYYYYY???

Ed, you are just so obsessed about that dike moment!! Such a guy!! Heyyy ya knowwww......as much as I know it turned ya on......I hope you didn't take it as offense. Girl is with you......and suddenly finds herself attracted to a woman! hmmmm.

On a serious note, I have been becoming more careful when I'm out and about. Lock my car doors, don't stop to give a guy directions, drive where ever I go, turn around if I am walking and some guy passes me or I hear someone coming from behind, and seriously thinking of taking a self defence class. Be careful out there fishies!! Don't ever assume that it can't happen to you, no matter where you are. The woman who died at the social probably thought she was safe with her freinds around her.

If they are in your home and you take them on you would be better of if they did die. They ( he or she) will not lie in court or sue you if they don't make, not that anyone wants such things to happen. Like you say it's your word against theirs.

too funny wolf woman but Tin has been around here for years. he just does not post so much........their are lots who only read and sometimes write words.
i remember his words from long ago when the fish use to post 10 times as much...before the concept of thread deletion and when pictures had spirit without prej and rules......... the no animals tigers and bears fist on pic's drown the fun!

(eddy had a azz shot leaned over a couch......made you snicker every time you saw it...roar)

seems we are spose to trust those pictures....rolmfao. jk eddy!

was back in the time when mods had eyeball pictures and removed other eye pictures ...........roar...

inbed gangs function hiding in innocents.....unfortunatly it is effective to adding to more unrealistic safety in numbers. initiation of those gangs happens to be something tin knows about....thanks Tin for your words.
girely adds the other end from the clarity of her passion...thanks girely for writing your words and helping us all find clarity.
