Southern California. In my area this is the average price range (it varies a lot based on well vs top shelf) for a domestic beer is $5, import $6-$7, mixed drinks $6-$9, martinis $11 - $18. Martinis seem to be in a class all by themselves. | |

He leaned in and started trying to kiss me, I had no where to go, my head was against the headrest! To top it off (are you sitting down????) He started passing gas! The most God-Awful...It was horrible. I finally managed to push him out of my car and drove home with the windows down to get rid of the smell! It was awful! (Can anybody top that?????) ;-) | |

When you closed the window and drove away, my penis got stuck. Didn't you see me hobbling after you for the first 2 miles?
It didn't end well for me. And of course I was passing gas! Wouldn't you if you were being dragged by a 2 ton automobile while your private parts were jammed in a closed window?

Posted: 7/29/2009 4:42:01 PM | You know, I've been on here for a while, and I've had a lot of dates, and a couple of really nice relationships, including the one I am in now.
I have met some amazing men, some who were just adorable, great to talk to, good hearts, and wonderful people.
But there have been a few that have left me shaking my head after the first date in amazement and horror.
Like the guy who asked me out to dinner, met me at the nice restaurant, had a good conversation with me, seemed like a good guy, but when he found out we weren't going back to my house for sex went to the bathroom and never came back...sticking me with the bill and angry. He texted me later that night to apologize and ask AGAIN if he could come over...I did not respond.
Then there was the guy who rode his motorcycle from the other side of the state to see me...showed up looking NOTHING like his picture, used my shower to clean up (at my suggestion), destroyed my bathroom, then got drunk at dinner so he had to crash on my couch all night. He tried to 'wake me up' for some loving in the middle of the night-OMG, that was just wrong. I got him out ASAP and cut off all contact. The whole situation was just weird to me. I didn't know what was worse, his appearance, his getting drunk, or his trying to sleep with me! UGH
Then there are the ones that make me laugh...like the guy who took me to this beautiful restaurant, complete with pianist and vocals playing softly during the meal. He starts having double Jack and cokes...and when the conversation turns to music and he finds out I sing in a band, he tries to impress me by singing Kid Rock at the top of his lungs. To this day I'm not sure whether he was trying to audition or what! LOL Needless to say, when he asked me out again, I politely declined.
It makes me laugh now, but was sooooo embarrassing then.

living in Vancouver, btw), we met & danced for several hours. When midnight came I said I had to leave to catch the Skytrain home. He offered to walk
me to the station, which I thought was un-neccessary, but nice. Kind-of sweet, even. 
We walked by his building & he asked me if I would like to come in for a quick drink. He assured me he "wouldn't try anything". Yeah I know, dumb to
believe that
Anyway, as soon as we are in the door, he turns into an octopus!
I ended up getting out of the situation with nothing worse than a black eye, by hurling a lamp against a neighbour's wall. He called the cops. | |

The very worst date... is hard to comprehend. When I think about it, I don't know whether to laugh at it hysterically or cry that someone is that lowsy.
We'd talked on the phone a few times and he seemed fun and decent! The only concern I had, was that he was a little bit older than I would normally go for. Other than that, there was no indication of what happened on the first date.
I met him in the city, near a hotel at about 7pm. He already reaked of alcohol and kissed me straight up. I was a bit thrown back by it, but we talked for a little bit and he made promises not to do anything (sexually) that night - that he wasn't interested in that, only out to have a fun time.
NEXT MINUTE, a limo turns up! We get in and go for a drive to a look out. He keeps kissing me... smokes a bit (which I think is just disgusting)... we get there and he starts cuddling me and says "You're mine!". I'm thinking, wow this is a bit full on/weird...
but go with it, because it was still early and he hadn't done anything really horrible - was just a bit too clingy for my liking.
Then he decides we're going down the coast (to the beach) - about an hours drive away. So the limo takes us that way... and he starts telling me about people he's bashed up/almost killed/criminal activities, etc. I'm starting to freak out a little bit, because it was just really weird.
We get to the Palazzo Versace Hotel (on the Gold Coast) and he orders food and****ails (even though I don't drink and he knew that). The alcohol went straight to my head and by this time, he was well and truly drunk. He looks at me and bluntly asks, will you have sex with me? I outright said no.
We get back into the limo to go back to the city and he asks me again. Again I say no.
Then he starts groping me! I had to pull his hand out of my shirt.
Then asks the limo driver to put up the blind - I think the limo driver pretended not to hear because he would have probably raped me or something.
It was a scary night.
I felt sick in the stomach for a few days.
I was very glad I got home safe and I learnt a very valuable lesson.
If you turn up to a date and the guy is already half drunk - TERMINATE IMMEDIATELY. | |

So far the worst date I had was the last I was on. I was invited to lunch in DC. I had to come to him and take three trains to get down there. When I got there he looked nothing like his picture. We went to Subway where I found out he had already eaten because he was hungry. I was so pissed BTW. I paid for my sandwich (this is back to paying for your own meals). Now gents I don't expect to be paid for esp when the guy isn't eating but in my experience a gentlement would have A) waited for me or B) at least offered to pay for the sandwich at which time I would have declined since he already ate.
Then we go to Starbuck's because I am exhausted and need a "pick me up". The conversation was complete crap and he was not really talking. Then he decides to show me his new apartment. We are in the middle of DC with tons of things to do but all he has planned is a trip to his place. So we go there and chat some. He tries to get physical but I had none of it and went home. | |

I was talking to a younger guy 5 or 6 years younger which I was hesitant on and told him. he described himself at 6'1 athletic drove etc so fine whatever i enjoy meeting people. so i stand 5'4 and put on 4" heels and went to meet him. he shows up i am one towering over him and i mean towering. he is on a cane and that's not an issue but he was quite overweight and did not look anything like his pictures. so i figured well we can chat and have some food. he had sever crippling disability in both his feet so they stuck out sideways had leg braces etc I was not impressed that I wasn't at least informed, i don't care if someone has a disability but why lie about it???- keep in mind he was praising athletic stuff skydiving, rock climbing and stuff like that.
so during the dinner he starts complaining that he is broke because he got into a car accident and needed to buy a new car. I had planned on paying for myself fro before we met. he had the nerve to say to me well you have a corporate job so can you pay... i found that rude and made it clear that i planned on paying for myself. i just paid the bill though it was cheap no big deal, then i said good bye nice meeting you told hi there was no chemistry and we could be friends and nothing more if he'd like to talk now and then. he then tried to follow me home! i managed to dodge him.
now we had exchanged cell numbers because he lived in another city. he then would not stop calling and texting. I just did not respond this was every 5 minutes for two days. so that being said the last message asked me if he was in the doghouse and how could he make it up to me since he wants our relationship to be a LTR- umm ya WTF? so i decided to blast him at that point and clearly told him i am a busy person and will not tolerate being bothered good luck in finding someone else and it was over... he sent me back a what can i do to fix us. ya hence to say i changed my number then. no more issues.
I am a little more particular in the screening process now lol. | |

He began talking about the ex and how he wanted to have a baby with her. She couldn't have children but she had an 18 year old, and as he put it..."Good for nothing, piece of S*it daughter." Okay, that comment made me cringe.
So he proceeds to tell me that he comes up with the ingenious idea of impregnating step-daughter with his sperm, she gets pregnant and they lock her in the house for the next nine months so they can keep an eye on her. After she gives birth, he will pay for 4 years of college (because she's worthless anyway).
He just couldn't understand why his wife wouldn't go for this!
And I couldn't get out of there fast enough... | |

She contacts me out of the blue, and I think "damn, that was quick," as it's only a day or two after signing up. She invites me to go on a 45 minute drive to get something to eat at her favorite restaurant. I say no thanks, but she lives a couple miles down the road from where I live at the time, and she invites me over to trade music the next day. I accept. She has no picture posted, and neither do I, so we were both going off just what we wrote until trading pictures in emails. Her pic was from the shoulders up. She had checked the "a few extra pounds" box in her profile.
I get to her place and she opens the door, and I still feel embarassed to this day when I think about how loud I gasped when I saw her. "A few extra?" Are you kidding? There should be federal laws against this woman purchasing or walking within ten yards of a wife-beater, let alone wearing one that day. I think she is pregnant until I take a second glance, attempting to be subtle with my lower jaw two inches from the floor.
I come in, and we actually had a pleasant conversation about how we like the same artists, and trade music for a few minutes. For the most part, she is extremely quiet. She pulls out her phone for a minute and calls her weed dealer, and puts her hand over the mouthpiece and asks me if I want to go in on a bag with her. (Not looking down on her for 420, but keep in mind that this is about twelve minutes after we meet for the first time.) A friend of hers comes by unnanounced, and helps her put an ace bandage on her ankle that she sprained at work the previous day. They talk for a few minutes about how long it will take for the weed to get there. Twenty minutes or so after walking in, I excuse myself and tell her I have to go pay my rent, which I did, but I dont' bother coming back. Last time we ever see each other.
I avoid online dating for a while after that.

He then took me for a drink in a pub and asked me to buy him a drink and if I wanted to go back to his to watch a movie. I am usually one who finds it hard to say no , but in this case it was the first thing to come out of my mouth!! x | |

Can I get some clarification on your post please?
Because she's overweight, she should stay at least 10 years of a "wife beater" and should be prohibited from purchasing or wearing one...
I'm thinking a "wife beater" is a guy who physically abuses his spouse, but that wouldn't follow from your post unless they sell guys like this in your local market and you can don them like you would a shirt. And the part about staying 10 yards away from one of them defies explanation no matter how you slice and dice it. | |
