Posted: 8/21/2009 1:57:00 AM | Hello. I am new to this but this event sounds like alot of fun. Is it proper to go alone?, or acceptable. How easy will it be to meet people., are they really friendly. Like I mentioned it sure sounds like a good time. Just don't want to feel out of place?

Im sure there will be a few of us 'newbies' there. I am bringing a friend and I also will be 'hinting' lol to a few people I have been mailng to come along. Seems like a great way to meet without obligations of one on one. If you are going alone your wecome to come sit with us other newbies. We will all feel a little out at first but Im sure after a glass or 3 we will be up dancin and have a great time!

Posted: 8/23/2009 1:10:40 PM | Come alone or bring a friend, this event is to get you out and meeting more people that may interest you. The idea of this get together is to have fun and meet people and dance to music other than country!
We decided on no jeans so that all could be a bit more dressy, it is not a putdown on jeans, we thought if it was a bit more dressy, more would enjoy themselves and come out to dance, meet and greet some new friends.
For those that do not dance, there are a few pool tables to gather round and shoot some balls while talking and getting to make a new friend.
There is no age limit, we encourage all ages to come out, afterall, the older we get it's only the toys that we buy that become more expensive, we all think young and like to have fun and party! | |

Posted: 8/24/2009 7:24:59 AM | As of this morning, Aug 24th, we have 75 signed up, this could result in over 100 in attendance, if you have yet to sign up, go to page 1 of this thread and select the sign up for this party button.
Come on Ladies, sign up, we have 40 gents and only 35 ladies, so we definately need you to sign up. If you are bringing friends, let us know in the thread so we can get a more accurate count. Some have already indicated bringing one or two and we thank you for that!!

Sorry guys, I will only dance with the Ladies, which by the way we could use a few more of!! Men outnumbering the ladies by 10 as of today, so get those girlfriends to sign up too Ladies!!
There's lots of us men to go around, even tho some say they can't or won't dance, they can still talk or play pool!!
Just over 432 hours to go, but who's counting!!

Newbies... the more then merrier. AGE?? as Duffster said, all are welcome.
You may not know anyone when the evening starts but will well be on your way
to friends and frolicing in short order. Duffster is an amazing host.
