I'm surprised you remember ANY of the past events except that you were there AND that your shirt ended up in the firepit!! I still think that it should have been run up the flag pole along with all our red bras!! 
You have duct tape, pliers AND the handcuffs... hmmm, YUP! I think you have all the requirements except one thing...kneepads for crawling back to the hotel! Unless there's someone to carry us there, I think we ALL may need them girls!! | |

Back in 2005 when these big POF events started happening in Alberta, what came out of it was a really epic crop of people who became good friends. Debauchery ensued at the next big meets because a lot of us knew one another. Things thinned out a fair bit with a larger gap between meets.
There were a couple meets more recently where that feeling just wasn't there anymore. People just wanted to head to Bellini's to party with strangers who didn't care who they were. But looking at THIS bunch of people, and the crazy banter going on in this thread right now, I feel that this could be the best crop of POFers since the 2005 group. People are letting their guards down, and they're bringing out their crazy sides. There's all the talk about the pre-parties at the Super 8 (oh man, they have no idea what they have coming to them). And I just think that this whole mix promises to make for a great weekend.
This is good. It means we are destined to have a night like no other. | |

I have the tunes ready to go, found something to wear (it's a TOGA party right?), took a loan at the bank to buy drinks, and warned the cops about the Watermelon Crawl....so, a few more sleeps and P-A-R-T-Y TIME!!!!!!! WAAHOOOOO!!!!!!!!

I also agree with Sass, I think it was the music or lack thereof in the past! You know that if there isn't decent music, it can swing a party one way or another!

Posted: 9/30/2009 11:31:16 AM | Ok but a lot of the same music played at the last event (I don't know if either of you were at Cheers last time) was the same music they play at Bellini's (I hate to say this, but I think that most of that music is awful.. lol).
But yeah, the last Wild Bill's party was just set up in a way that people were forced to find the right place to party. It's why Cheers ended up being the better place to do these things... there's a dance floor! (in defense of Wild Bill's though, they have changed things around a bit and now have a stage).
And of course, at the last Wild Bill's thing, we had an unconventional DJ. He's used to performing for a younger crowd, me thinks. | |

Spoiled - there are a lot coming out, but there are also a lot missing from that particular group so it feels...different. I hope that some of the people that have never been out, or recently been out, get the courage to say hi to others (like we all did) and have fun.
I may be a wallflower, or I may stick my neck out. It entirely depends on the atmosphere I think.
Some of us have to get more of the ol' group coming...you know, to stir things up a lil | |

As to the duct tape it's okay but painful to remove, I will bring some industrial cling wrap for the first couple of layers, then Diesel can be duct taped to anything and still have his leg hair.

Posted: 9/30/2009 3:04:53 PM | I have tried to attend every party since my first a few years back(and Whoa that one was ummm intersting cant believe how much I drank that night lmao)some have been good others not so good(the one at bo's was fun until everyone started pouring out to go dance at another place,but since there wasnt really a dance floor to be had cant blame them),I really hope that both the super 8 and Cheers North know what there getting into as like it has been said it looks like the debauchry crowd maybe coming back into swing here(not me im innocent cant prove a thing as I tend to be in the wrong place for pics).
Really looking forward to this one thou got a few folks I havnt talked to in a long time.
