| ONE STEP BEYOND! GLASGOW MADNESS SEPTEMBER 27TH!
Posted: 9/4/2009 1:22:48 AM | Hi everyone, my computer has finally given up the ghost so haven't managed to get online for a while. Great to come back and see so many new faces signed up for the meet (as well as the regulars) this is going to be a great day/night out for everyone.
To all the shy nervous fish please try and overcome your nerves....just keep in mind that although a lot of people seem to know each other on the forums etc we all just met at the meets, and we all had to get through our first meet also, it's not as bad as you think it will be and I have to say that everyone really is very friendly, the guys and the girls, welcoming strangers into their company, offering to meet up with people beforehand and sharing taxi's home etc
Right, just to remind everyone the day will start at 2pm with some background music for people arriving, the hosts and their little helpers will be either at the door (depending on the weather) or just inside to meet and greet everyone and introduce the fish arriving on their own into company who will look after them.
Between 3pm and 5.30pm there will be an 80's quiz....some games and the start of the karaoke (remember, £100 prize for the most entertaining fish so get practising) stop for a hot buffet between 5.30 and 6.30pm then the second half of the karaoke until the doors open to the public at 8pm. The partying will continue until 3am!
Please feel free to come in 80's attire although this is optional but don't think you'll look silly as there will be loads of people who will dress up for this meet (including your hosts)
Any questions between now and the meet can they please be put on the forum instead of mailing me personally as I don't know how often I will get online between now and then to reply.

Posted: 9/7/2009 1:19:28 AM | gloulou64 some people go with their mates and some people go on their own. Entirely up to you. The hosts make sure everyone is made welcome but just say if your on your own they will introduce you to some other fish so your not by yourself!
