Well, post a picture and lemme look.... Dang, now do i not only have to compete with Savonna and her nice smelling porkloin,Ive now got to compete with the hot chick in the white bikini. Think i might have a better chance of convincing the cheapos in the cheapman thread of the error of their ways.

| Do women cook anymore?? Posted: 9/15/2009 4:40:47 PM | I certainly do.
But I'm of an older generation and also brought up to be a farm wife(even though I didn't end up being one) and cooking was one of the things they were expected to do, even if they didn't like it or weren't particularly good at it.
In my experience, cooking and other domestic arts are overrated as far as how eligible it will make you seem to the opposite sex. When I was young, I think that I relied too much on things like that to guarantee that I'd get a husband or boyfriend. And for some men, it's relatively important, but for a lot of of them, it barely registers.
As it happens, I like cooking and other domestic things for my own fulfillment, and would do them anyway.

haha good topic , well I know I do , but then again I'm old school...
You know what? I hadn't even looked at your profile and I could just TELL you were old school....
.... must be the thigh-high boots and tight black knickers...

must be the thigh-high boots and tight black knickers.
At least she expresses herself - I guess that is Old School.....
I think we just have to deal with the fact = cooking is no longer an Art, but it is a plus when you are stuck home for a few days because a Blizzard has come through and snowed you in...
But then Mac & Cheese will go far......

| Do women cook anymore?? Posted: 9/15/2009 5:42:39 PM | I hate cooking. I'd rather put together a table from Ikea.
I don't think men and women are completely equal. You got that right Bucko so don't even try to compete with us. ps. In regards to making you a ham sammich...make it yourself Ralph

| Do women cook anymore?? Posted: 9/15/2009 5:56:04 PM | What's really funny to me is that cooking for my man is something I enjoy because it's not expected. It's like a little gift each time. :) If he expected it, itwouldn't be nearly as much fun.
And...I don't really think thong pics belong on POF, actually... so don't think my thong uncovered azz is gonna be on here in one anytime soon. There are more adult sites for that! LOL And um that goes for guys and girls. I'm not a prude at all - quite the opposite...just think there's a place and a not-place!
But tempting if I'd get a pic in return...huh...but only in front of a stove so we stay on topic! (oh excuse me my bf said it's a range, not a stove...)
And I agree non-farmwife, chick... that those housewifery skills are really overrated in making for a good mate. I mean, being a complete pig is not good. But being a perfect little housewife does not make someone a good catch!

my god are u serious
Yes, on here I tend to channel my more serious side...partly the company I keep on here...partly..it's a thought process thing for me, unlike most, I think..but, like many, offline I'm quite different...even silly...I laugh and smile a lot, I collect toys and I love Disney...just an opportunity to express my split personality...lol...
I don't know where you are getting hate out of that post... but I never said I hated anyone or group. Nor did I say Savona was a hater.
But I DID say she was casually putting down men in a way that perpetuates a common double-standard today
I didn't say you did...let me rephrase..you did say it was misandry..which is hatred of men..I said that was a strong word to use, and that I don't hate anyone or any groups myself...however:
Unless I missed something or misunderstood...you kinda proved my point, in a way...I don't recall you saying the OP himself posted a topic that was misogynist..it is often the case that men will quickly accuse or point out anything they think is misandry..but, rarely misogynisitc..especially when a man says it...and I think that is a double standard...I will point out either gender..and while I believe you aren't a bigot about anything, and made some general disclaimers about misogyny..I find it interesting that not addressing the implied misogyny of the OP seems to be far more common than not...they post something negative about women..women respond...then men tell the women why they are wrong ( and possibly misandrist), ..but, never address the Op's bigotry...just wonder why that is...

Well since you have to be at least 18 to join POF, this is technically an "adult" site too!
Sorry... that's no excuse for not showing your Azz...
I'm not a prude at all - quite the opposite...
I'm sorry... I don't believe you. You'll just have to prove that you aren't.
But tempting if I'd get a pic in return...huh...but only in front of a stove so we stay on topic!
That can be arranged...
I mean, being a complete pig is not good.
The Pork farmers would disagree with you...

| Do women cook anymore?? Posted: 9/15/2009 7:19:57 PM | | Women can still cook, or can learn to cook. With that being said, men can do the same. All of my ex-girlfriends does not know how to cook, so I cook for them when I arrive home; however, gals that I meet usually say they cook, but I have not verified it. In my own experience, women cannot cook, but there must be some gals out there that can cook. | |

| Do women cook anymore?? Posted: 9/15/2009 7:47:55 PM | | Nope, I don't cook, it's not my thing. GOD bless the people who do. | |
|
| Do women cook anymore?? Posted: 9/15/2009 7:53:35 PM | I think women stopped spending hours everyday in the kitchen when men stopped being the bread winners. Women have full time jobs and careers now - perhaps you haven't heard? OP - perhaps the party girls that you're dating might not have cooking on their minds. | |

Pork farmers
Yeah, Hmm they usually are Mass Killers too - they pigs even eat the bones - what about that guy a couple of years ago in London, Ontario - who had a lot of old cars in his farm - he denied he knew anything about them - but they found thousands of human teeth in his pig pens....
Women have full time jobs and careers now ...
Yeah, no need for families, children - We can have all the Sex we can get and when we get older we can have the High School Seniors and College Kids.......

I'm just so thrilled for you.....

So make me a ham sammich and ill assemble that table we bought at ikea. No problem! I've assembled enough packaged furniture for a lifetime! The making of a sammich and listening to you swear is a much better deal IMO. Just call me when you need help reading directions.
Fat bottoms? Thongs? Ummmm...(bowing out politely...really I just wanted to talk about food...)

| Do women cook anymore?? Posted: 9/15/2009 11:53:08 PM | tbuddha It is refreshing that you have learned to cook....I believe everyone of both genders and all ages should know how to cook for reasons such as, If you are alone and do not know how to cook and have no money to eat out you just may starve....If you are alone in the house and hungry and do not fend for your self you just might starve....cooking with family can be a bonding experience and promotes team work....cooking with someone you'd like to shag or in love with can be romantic and can be a type of foreplay....cooking for someone or people you love can be rewarding and appreciative.....I am sure there are many more reasons I have not listed.
Men and woman are not the same because men have a penis and women have a vagina, and well some men and woman have both...well it's true. And, some men have boobs as well as woman. Some woman have facial and body hair like men. Some women have muscles and strength like men and some men are wimpier than some women. Some women develop and mature faster than men do. Yes there are differences and similarities.
You said "Saying crap like you can do whatever we can is NOT being appreciative or at all intelligent." If some woman can do things that some men can do, just as well, that would make your statement unappreciative regarding their skills and makes you sound some what unintelligent. However, I agree, there may be a ton of things that some....now I said some not all....of us woman can't or won't do and it is nice to have a man to do them for us or help us do it (sex comes to mind but that isn't what I meant at all!!!!).
As far as......your statement......"you need to pull your weight too." Hmmmm read paragraph one. Most Women now days single or married have to work full time....and some have the all the responsibilities that come with our beloved children, other family members, friends, kids sports, hobbies, sports.....and I'm sure I've missed some things. Every single (single as in alone single, not dating or married) adult person should possess the skills of daily living and be capable of taking care of themselves. So when you get a significant other....and live together....the learned skills can become shared responsibilities. I do things....things could be cooking, cleaning, give massages, painting interior or exterior, making appointments....what have you, for the people I love because I want to....because I love them and sometimes because it is needed or the right things to do.
Now.....Did you actually think this crap up all by yourself and spew it out of your brain? "This feminist crap is why so many families fail, because people don't want to act like a family and cherish our gender roles (so the family might fail because the husband cooked dinner while the wife mowed the lawn?) . Go back through the threads and the only real women are in their 40s and up ( I agree us women in our 40's rule....lol), the new generation of women are happy being mindless, walking vaginas (WOW .....HAHAHAHA now that is just wrong....what are the new generation of men? Mindless, walking****?...lol I don't think that men! I love you and your****!!!!!) This kind of spewed shyt is worse than the ignorance the op spewed out of his brain.

I think I cook well enough that my kids and I won't starve or get sick.
But my Ex is a much better cook than I am... she has a natural talent for it. And she also bakes cakes that are better than anything you can get anywhere else... at any price... especially chocolate cake.
I've got to do a followup with to that turkey.
As for dessert... you can have it any time you want, my dear...

| Do women cook anymore?? Posted: 9/17/2009 11:42:58 PM | Here ya go - anyone who can actually does cook for themselves is a plus - they are inclinded to eat healthy.
People who can't cook or don't are the Microwave Nation - all made and no work other than running the microwave. And you are just eating fast food from the foodstore. Basically Sh!te!
I am a single guy and love home cooked meals - but I live by myself and I can't keep fresh food around - it goes bad - so I don't keep it.
