Oh heck, you need to go on myspace to find out about teens and pregnancy. That is where the teens are at.

I was in my 20's when I had my first, so I wasn't a teen. But I agree that I love my children and I am sure that life has been much better with them. I can't imagine life with out them.

But aren't you trying to preach to them?

Seems if you want to prevent this from happening or them from doing it again, you need to reach them. I don't see too many teen mom's on the forums and don't think they really would want to volunteer on this thread to have anyone question their choices or decisions.

Very true ^^^^^^^ we will just tell them all that they will all meet the right guy that will accept them and their kids. They will be successful at life and none of their kids will end up in jail.
They will never come home from school crying about the fact that the other kids made fun of them because they don't have a dad. They will tell them stories about how not all families are the same.
Yes we will just perpetuate this growing trend, some here are very good at that.

They will all start threads about how difficult it is to get guys to date them.

They will all ask how do I get a good role model for my kids.

They will all ask how do I sue for child support.

How different is life as a single parent from how you thought it would be

I also think I think it would be very interesting to get the perspective of current and former teen parents on this subject. I would expect the discrepancy between what most of them envisioned being a single parent would be like, and the reality of it
