I think they teach that in elementary school. An apostrophe does not equal a plural. Get yourself a copy of Merriam Webster's Dictionary and you could probably also use a copy of Warriner's English. It's a grammar text.
And, I do expect you to report back when Vick gets reinstated BEFORE week 6.
No need to thank me for the free education,.

| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 8/24/2009 1:06:32 AM | But wait a second. You just accused me that "hypocrisy's" isn't a word and now since you realized that it was indeed a real word, you divert it to something else? LOL. Aren't you the same person that said that they would teach me to understand English, but yet this is the same person that misspells words and has grammar errors, but then says "No need to thank me for the free education."? LOL, I guess you did teach me a few "thngs".
So what's your excuse for your typo's and grammar errors then if you have "The Great Webster's Dictionary" to guide you as your source for all of your spelling and grammar needs?
I got a lesson for you. "Don't throw stones in glass houses."
You are just too fun.

| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 8/24/2009 1:25:15 AM | It's NOT a word, doofus! LOL. Wow. Reading comprehension is really not your strong suit, huh?
Clearly, you really don't know how to use apostrophes. It would be typos, not typo's. Wow. Just wow.
|
| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 8/24/2009 3:26:10 AM | Wow, and yet another hypocritical comment coming from you on comprehension. Do you not see that word being used in Google? I do. Do you not have Microsoft Word? I do. Guess what? It's a word and it checks out perfectly fine. Go ahead type that word in microsoft word and see if it tries to correct it.
So, now you are using the term Apostrophes. Did you just look that word up recently in your Webster’s Dictionary? LOL.
This is someone accusing me of not using grammar correctly, but yet you have already been called out for using improper grammar in your sentences. The hypocrisy coming from you is simply amazing. Then you say “this is my last thought to you”, but yet, you still come back. You're amazing lol.
It doesn't matter anyhow lol cause the Eagles will always be the red headed step child of PA when it comes to NFL teams in that state. The Steelers have proven to be winners in that state and the Eagles have proven to be well..... losers in the state. Yeah so I think you should be the last person to talk smack about how bad the Cowboys suck when your team hasn't even won a damn Super Bowl yet. LOL

| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 8/24/2009 4:57:50 AM | | The only thing that the cowboys are good for is the cheerleaders and everyone knows that. They cant play and Romo cant even hold a ball. (refering to the butterfingered placekick that lost them the game) | |

Where does it state that in his clause?
It was done up by a bunch of Lawyers in the city of Nashville. To give you an example you might understand. When the Jets picked up Brett Favre, from the Packers Favre really wanted to be a Viking . There was a clause in his contract that said if the Jets do trade Favre to the Vikings then the Jets would have to give up two first round draft picks to the Packers which would be a very stupid move for the Jets to do, that's why the Jets never did trade him.

The reason that I mentioned that I'm a lawyer and know how to read words was because the people who wrote the letter to Vick and his agent were lawyers! Doh!
Let's don't play Michael Vick in the game but say we did.
|
| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 8/24/2009 5:47:41 AM | Great MGM, still no proof that there was a clause in the LP staduim lease contract. You can talk it but where is the link to back your claim? I have searched pretty much everywhere on google for what you are saying and I have not seen one sherd of proof to back your claim.
Why are you comparing a players contract to a NFL staduim contract they are two entirely diff things. Does a player have a binding contract to the tax payers of that city and county? No. Does a player have to sign a lease agreement to the city and county? No. His contract only deals with the ownership of the team. You're not making any sense. You can't compare a players contract to a Staduim contract. That's just reaching....

| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 8/24/2009 6:26:42 AM | Read these words..........
won't be eligible for full reinstatement until at least week six of the regular season. The word by is NOT there!!
ANDDDD since we're stating I'm wrong you're right how 'bout the fact that you said the Ealges know how to get the Superbowl and the Cowboys don't. Being that the Cowboys have been 8 times and the Eagles only 2 how can that statement be accurate. The Cowboys have 5 wins and the Eagles have 0. Did they teach you how to sugar coat that in Law School?

Vick, who is still unsigned, is eligible to practice for an NFL team immediately The earliest the ex-Falcons QB would be able to play in an NFL game is October http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/football/nfl/07/27/vick.reinstated.ap/index.html
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell reinstated quarterback Michael Vick Monday "on a conditional basis." Goodell also informed Vick that he would "be considered for full reinstatement and to play in regular season games by Week 6 (October 18-19) based on the progress he makes in his transition plan," according to an NFL press release.

I guess we'll see what happens there's a lot of news flying around that can be interpreted by each reader differently. But as we all know only a lawyer who asks her man friends to help her understand could possibly know.

Great MGM, still no proof that there was a clause in the LP staduim lease contract.
The LP Field stadium is the proof. I do not have a copy of the contract but I it was talked about and read in the papers 10 years ago. Even Bud Adams was on the Jeff Fisher show said and so his self. That's all the proof I need. There are some things on the internet you just can't find. You say a lease can't be broken and I know it can be, clause in the contract are no clause. Just ask your lawyer friend.

| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 8/24/2009 9:30:38 AM | To generalize.... to make vague or indefinite statements seems to be your speciality though.
i dont see how u come to that, i said that i thought cowboys fans are full of themselfs and i said i think the cowboys suck, thats not vague, its just my opinion!! so let me get this right, i make the statement that balitmore fans are now ravens fan and for the most part , the whole colts moving thing has been put behind them, and i say this from my actual experience at a colts/ravens playoff game. i said that most of the fans have moved on, and you counter with 2 quotes from people and say "they" might be a little bitter , as if they repersent a large% of the people. whos misleading who?. its clever wording, but the thing is i was talking about most of the fans not all of the fans, but then again iam sure u can always find people that are unhappy or bitter about any subject that u are talking about.. iam sure we could find people in dallas that think that new stadium was a waste of money, doesnt mean it was, its just people expressing there opinions, just like i was about what i think about the cowboys and what u where about the colts moving, right?

thats cool, then we will move on, last point i will make is , about the glass houses, then i guess no one could ever make a point, just because all players or teams have a past or something that some would disagree with, but what ever, moving on, good luck with that paint, lol

Deb- Don't make yourself look dumb too! You are quoting a blogger whom the idiot above quoted. Read or listen to the letter sent by Goodell. Then come back to me.
When is the last time the Cowboys were in the Superbowl? Have they been in the Superbowl in THIS decade?
|
| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 8/24/2009 11:29:52 AM | And Deb - from the article in Sports Illustrated that you quoted:
"Once the season begins, Vick may participate in all team activities except games, and Goodell said he would consider Vick for full reinstatement by Week 6 (Oct. 18-19) at the latest."

Well I rest my case. Listen if you can show me where Adams has that clause in the staduim deal i'd love to see it but until then, it's like well you can say it but their isn't any links to provide your claim other then what you are saying.
whom the idiot above quoted
Funny, you say "idiot" considering you are the one talking all this trash about how Dallas sucks but yet, your Eagles are hmmm Super Bowl winless? Does the word hypocrite come to mind?
I guess they won't be playing that song 'who let the dogs out' at The Linc anytime soon now that you have a dog killer playing for your team, because it sure the hell wasn't Vick that let the dogs out.
Who cares how many times you are in the Super Bowl if you freaking LOSE. Let’s do the math. How many times have the Eagles been to the Super bowl? Let’s see 2 times and how many Super Bowl wins have they won? 0! So what does that make them? 0-2 which = Losers. I can't get it anymore simpler then that.
And you wonder why soo many other fans around the league heavily dislike Eagle fans.
|
| |
| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 8/24/2009 1:02:15 PM | It's owned by the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County. Which means Adams just can't get up and move that team, because he has a lease agreement with the city and county in which he built that staduim on and must keep that team in that city until the lease is paid for.
I have been trying to tell you that all along.
