| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 12/5/2011 1:19:28 PM | Garrett made the final decision to call time out and he was worried they werent going to get the snap off in time. Its still a poor excuse as there was 26 seconds left on the clock to call a time out when Bryant caught the pass. This was the worst clock management I've ever seen, there was plenty of time to even run the ball one more time instead of panic the way Garret did. Even at that with 2 time outs they could have taken one and discussed their options before calling the timeout just at the snap of the good field goal. Absolute stupidity on Garretts part. I sure hope he tells the players that this loss was on him because he certainly didnt take accountability in his press conference
I know how pathetic. We still had a time out left in regulation that we could have used. Did you see Jerry Jones in the prees box with his wife and grandson? If they weren't there he just may have jumped off the edge. I really doubt we beat the giants sunday night.

Well the Saints can also thank Manning's injury as the AFC South Colts and the NFC South's (Tampa Bay Bucs) are the only two teams who can't win a game in their own Division...
Just show's how weak the division really is.

You better after the botched loss against the Cards the Cowboys don't have any more room for era. If the Giants Win they will hold the tie breaker and be in first place. If Dallas looses they could be knocked out of the playoff race altogether by next week.
So it's a big game for both teams.

And beat Garrett to a pulp with his grandsons cell phone.
I've never seen that man look so angry and embarrassed.

Tampa Bay is 2-2 in their division. Minnesota, Cleveland, Indianapolis and St. Louis are the four teams without division wins. http://espn.go.com/nfl/standings Why would the Saints be greatful for Manning's injury? If Manning were playing, I'm sure the Colts would have won a couple games which would have the NFC East as the most losingest division in the league. Hahahahaha!!!!

could be the reason the packers and a few others doin so well. i for one have to admit the nfc east is no longer the best at least not this year and probably not the last couple of seasons either.
but heres a cute little stat for ya far as appearances in a super bowl the nfc east has 19, more than any other division.
if the cowboys lose against the giants sunday its not the end of the world they will be tied, then play again so at this point id rather be a cowboy

My, my, my there's trouble brewin' down in Arlington. Jerry, Queen of Arkansas, can't be happy with his Ivy League puppet. If he could only get a legitimate NFL coach to come run his team, but none will put with Her Highness' bullsquat! Jason Garrett is now like the son-in-law that has been abusing Jerry's daughter.
Can we all get together and pray for better times???
hymn, hymn, hymn, F hymn!

It won't change the fact the Saints are a better team than the Girls. Plain and simple, the Girls haven't been a SB contender for 16 years. Their not contenders this year eventhough they come from the second losingest division in the league.
You can dredge up history all you want, Al Bundy. Hahahahaha

| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 12/12/2011 9:47:23 AM | Skoochie I didnt expect anything different coming from you Considering your a stats guy you seem to be auwfuly confused since it takes years to build up stats to seperate the true players from the flash in the pans. The same thing can be said about teams.
Keep dreaming | |

| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 12/12/2011 12:57:58 PM | ARLINGTON, Texas (AP)—DeMarco Murray left the Dallas Cowboys locker room on crutches, knowing his record-setting rookie season is over. His teammates left wondering whether their season is falling apart, too.
The Cowboys lost a second straight game Sunday night, but what really stings is the way they did it. The defense gave up two touchdowns in the final 3:14. Miles Austin failed to haul in a potential winning touchdown; coach Jason Garrett again struggled with his clock management; and rookie kicker Dan Bailey had a last-second kick blocked.
Dallas blew a fourth-quarter lead of at least 12 points for the third time this season. That happened only twice over the franchise’s previous 51 seasons.
As bad as it seems, the Cowboys can win the division by winning their final three games.
Oh my, Cowboy fans, this season's outlook is looking mighty dim!

Actually; if you look at the record books, wins/losses, championships and pretty much every other stat there is, the Cowboys are a way better franchise than the Saints. In fact; the Saints are not even close.
With that being said; it hasn't been easy cheering for the Cowboys the past bunch of years.
Who knew there were so many ways to lose a game? NOBODY works harder to bump themselves out of the playoffs.
doh
With that being said; we're not out of it yet.
