If the nfl wants to name an "americas team" it should be the steelers. Just a well run organization. It drafts well, an owner that spends money, great coaching staff, and pretty much wins about 10-12 games every year, this goes along with the many superbowl wins it has.
All this has to do with being in the AFC North. Weakest and Easiest Division in Football. Cincinnati has one good year out of every 8 Cleveland has never even appeared in a Super Bowl. Ravens one Super Bowl win. Put Dallas in this division and they would have a cake walk.

say, if the cowboys WERE to relinquish their "americateam" title, heres a list of my top ten eligibles: 10.2 way tie baltimore colts/new england-boston patroits (maybe then they would have stayed put) 9.san francisco (gotta love that song) 8.philadelphia (notta hater) 7.chicago (its windier here than there) 6.new york giants (they should not even be eligible after not wanting it in the first place, i guess they were worried) 5.buffalo (the weather is ruff there give them a break) 4.pittsburgh (the '70s teams are unforgetable)) 3.new york jets (hollywood joe predicting win) 2. kansas city chiefs (the argument here would be, what have you done for me lately) 1. green bay (who would argue this)

| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 10/21/2009 4:09:43 PM | | Well look at the bright side Cowbay fans. The Giants and Eagles lost last week. so you guys are one game closer to catching up with both teams. I predict Miles Austin will fill in the void that was left by T.O. I like Miles Austin he kind of reminds me of a younger Hines Ward in a way, just by how he plays the open field. | |

| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 10/23/2009 9:55:44 AM | And on the down side, the Cowboys still finish no better than 8-8, with that weak secondary, and out of the playoffs for another year! And then on the bright side, Phillips gets fired, and next year maybe you get a Shanahan, Cowher, Mariucci, or Gruden as the next head coach. Or then on the down side, maybe Jerry Jones makes a brain dead move and promotes Jason Garrett to head coach. He is a graduate of Princeton, after all! | |
|
| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 10/23/2009 9:59:05 AM | | Mariucci and Gruden, heck we might as well keep Wade if we are going to hire one of those guys! Cowher would ba a good choice, same for Urban Meyer but we will likely see Mike Holmgren next year as coach. | |

| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 10/24/2009 7:17:32 AM | And it all adds up to a Cowboy loss as your secondary will not be able to stop the passing attack of the Falcons! Sorry to urinate on your Corn Flakes! | |

Sorry to urinate
thats sick .if you have a workplace the people there need to keep their eye on you.
HD, dude, I had no idea that you have such a delicate composition and that your senses can be so easily offended!
I haven't had a workplace since I retired in 2003, and I like it that way! Prior to that, I spent the previous 25 1/2 years in the NJ State Prison system, where I met quite an array of the flowers of humanity!

| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 10/25/2009 10:23:53 AM | Cut me & I bleed BLUE & SILVER. I have been a Cowboy fan since I was 5. For all you people that don't like math that is 38 years. They are & will be forever known as America's team. They are tried and true. Yes Tom Landry was the best coach of the Cowboys hands down. He didn't play when it came to the team. Roger Staubach was the GREATEST quarterback known to man. There is no way to change my mind. The best runningback was Tony Dorsett. The best wide receiver was Drew Pearson. Yes I loved the triplets Aikman, Smith & Irvin. Now you have Romo & Witten. Enough said. No amount of arguments can change my mind so don't even try. As far as the drugs. They were no different than any team in the NFL they just got caught. A person that likes another team is just a Cowboy fan in denial. Especially steeler fans. | |

| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 10/25/2009 4:36:34 PM | Sorry to ....... on your Corn Flakes!
25 1/2 years, boy they must have liked you (you know what im saying?)
your wrong you and your sense of humor. the cowboys won today!
hi tigress i been a fan a longtime also. its sad to see cowboy fans come in and say that are not cowboys fans because they are losing, then they go crawl back under their rock.
i thought troy aikman got ahead of himself today saying with 5 minutes left the cowboys were 5 and 2. he should know better than that, if is a big word.

| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 10/25/2009 5:28:38 PM | Romo and the Cowboys played like they are supposed to play. Miles Austin is playing, well like T.O was supposed to play. Wow time to move Roy Williams to the 3 spot and maybe give Hurd or Ogletree a shot. The defense was pretty damn good too, way to go 'Boys, does this mean that Pete is going to Pee on his words and then eat them? | |
|
| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 10/25/2009 5:33:24 PM | It's amazing how one guy can put a big spark the team like Miles austin as done. This guy is going to be another Hines Ward. He's tough , he has break away speed and he knows how to play the football field. If the Cowboys continue to play like this they might acutually go to the playoffs and win a playoff game. | |

| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 10/25/2009 5:38:34 PM | Even Romo looked good out there today! I'm lovin Austin; he's fillin TO's shoes whithout the whiny baby drama and he's a little easier on the eyes Welcome Tigress.... prepare for the Cowboy haters to challenge your every word lol...
HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS.... I have a renewed sense of hopefulness

| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 10/26/2009 5:26:37 AM | I am very happy to have been proven wrong with my prediction of the Cowboys losing to the Falcons!!! Kudo's to the Cowboy D line for getting the pressure on Ryan and throwing his timing and accuracy off track! And many thanks for helping the Saints get a 2 game lead in the NFC South Division!
HD, I know what you're saying, just like in the line from the movie "An Officer And A Gentleman" proclaimed, "only steers and queers come from Texas." So I guess I'm not surprised that your thoughts run along those lines.
Crane38, very good, very funny line, but I'll eat my words dry, thank you!

You'll be sad to be proven wrong again when the saints lose in the playoffs.

| ***the official DALLAS COWBOYS thread*** Posted: 10/26/2009 5:49:45 AM | Congrats Cowboy fans! Next week you guys play Seattle!
You'll be sad to be proven wrong again when the saints lose in the playoffs. What playoffs? If they make it. I saw a Saints team that finally woke up in the 4th quarter. Maybe they were tired from last week and it took time to get their sh!t together. But it was a good come back I must say winning against a 2-4 team.
