"How does it feel" Cowboys get a bye next week then the new Cowboy Stadium officially gets broke in when they host the Titans as MGM will be there at the game. "How Bout Them Dallas Cowboys Baby"

| 2009 / 2010 The Dallas Cowboys Posted: 9/26/2010 1:52:14 PM | Victory was SWEEEEEEEET. They played like they meant it. Romo threw like he knew he was throwing to and further than 5 yards at a time... AND found his mark! Ware was on their QB like flies on shit! Williams made me proud for the first time in a long time! What a turn around; the COWBOYS needed that so badly and although I know it's not everything they needed I'm still screamin HELLLLS YEAH HOW 'BOUT DEM COWBOYS! | |

| 2009 / 2010 The Dallas Cowboys Posted: 9/26/2010 4:03:56 PM | way to go cowboys, nice surprise. saved some heads. the offense got over 100 years on the ground and the defense 3 turnovers. thats what i call help.
now they get a rest and we just got this thing started. the win will silence the jerry jones haters for awhile.
|
| 2009 / 2010 The Dallas Cowboys Posted: 9/26/2010 4:48:14 PM | | My opinion on Jerry remains the same! Win or lose doesn't change the way I feel about it! Sooooo don't expect my silence lol.... The win just gives me something else to talk about for a minute... :o) | |
|
| 2009 / 2010 The Dallas Cowboys Posted: 9/26/2010 5:54:32 PM | Congratulations Dallas fans... I didn't see the game but form the score it looks like Dallas kick some butt. LOL, Just don't make a habit of winning. | |
|
| 2009 / 2010 The Dallas Cowboys Posted: 9/26/2010 6:00:37 PM | It was a great game! Of course being in tears in a crowded cowboys fan club, full of men got me some razzing BUTTTTTT the victory was quite emotional for me!!! They know how I take this shit way too seriously more often than not! We played HARD and earned it! Our defense shut down the Texans repeatedly! It was BEAUTIFUL to watch (for a change). Thanks Nancy!! | |

| 2009 / 2010 The Dallas Cowboys Posted: 9/26/2010 7:42:09 PM | HD I hate to dissapoint you but I will never be a Jerry Jones fan not now not ever almost 17 years since our last super bowl thats not quite the same as the old Cowboys were ................................... talkin before Jerry showed up.
Back then Clint Murchison and the Cowboys were almost always in the playoffs unlike Jerrys Cowboys.

Can we finally put to sleep that the NFC east is the "toughest" division in football?
Kinda hard to when it's the most "competitive" division in football.
|
| 2009 / 2010 The Dallas Cowboys Posted: 9/27/2010 8:42:26 AM | three teams are 1-2...
how is that competitive?
The giants have gotten drilled two weeks in a row...
the skins just lost to the rams....

Im not sure the NFC East will be the best division in the NFC this year but your statement is not a fair assesment as we are only three games into the season. The reason I once claimed the road to the Super bowl goes through the East was because of its history of NFC champions. The gap is slowly closing due to parity but I would still bet the NFC East still has the most teams to represent the NFC in the Superbowl over the rest of the divisions in the NF

Three teams tied for second place and just one game behind the leader.
George Blanda dies at 83. Played 26 years in the AFL/NFL til the age of 49. Remember watching him play when I was a kid. Back then the goal post was in the middle of the end zone with the cross bar parallel to the goal line with one team having a player jumping up underneath trying to block the field goal attempt. The game and rules have really changed since then.

Didn't see it comin BUT LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! Not nearly as much as I loved Week One. So if I told you the 'Skins would be 1-2 after the first three weeks, I bet you'd have never picked the "1"...
Congratulations Deb on your first win... and for getting Roy Williams to remember which team he plays for.

| 2009 / 2010 The Dallas Cowboys Posted: 9/27/2010 9:10:54 PM | What happened to Skoochie and Pete

| 2009 / 2010 The Dallas Cowboys Posted: 9/27/2010 9:35:33 PM | The NFC East isn't the toughest division in the league. The AFC East is. If you want to bring up history, then I'll say the Romans are the toughest empire today.
I don't like to defend losses Dorsette. There was a bunch of chances for the Saints to win and they didn't capitalize. Every possession that a team doesn't score on is their fault. They had plenty of possessions to do that. But, I do blame the kicker a little bit for missing the easy OT field goal. But, Brees threw two picks. There's enough blame to go around.

| 2009 / 2010 The Dallas Cowboys Posted: 9/28/2010 3:04:07 AM | Can we finally put to sleep that the NFC east is the "toughest" division in football? It's not THIS YEAR, so far. I don't think any of these teams is really scaring anyone. The AFC East and AFC North are both looking tougher. On the other hand, there aren't many teams that really jump out and there's a lot of season left to play. Who would have thought when the season started that the Bears would be the only NFC team undefeated after 3 weeks? And I don't think many people outside of Chicago are thinking Super Bowl Shuffle II, lol.
What's really funny is that DC has a pretty fair number of Cowboy fans...sometimes obnoxiously so. After Week One they all seemed to disappear (a diehard in my office refused to come to work that Monday), but since Sunday afternoon, Cowboy jerseys and those stupid flags in car windows have made an amazing resurgence. Must be a coincidence, lol...

| 2009 / 2010 The Dallas Cowboys Posted: 9/28/2010 1:43:41 PM | Dorsett33 says: HD i am surprised you dont see how jerry jones is the problem.
i dont see any bickering about jones this week. reminds me of last year when a co-worker wrote the cowboys off after the san diego game. he must not really be a cowboy fan. he only likes the cowboys when they win.
that offensive line doin a job, romo been sacked once.

| 2009 / 2010 The Dallas Cowboys Posted: 9/28/2010 3:08:40 PM | to Skoochie I was talking about the NFC I never said the road to the super bowl Goes thru the NFL thats quite obviuos I said the NFC which means the AFC is exculded other wise the satement weould be pretty stupid.
HD Ive been watching the Cowboys since Don Meridith was quarterback that was when the franchise was about 10 years old. Are you trying to tell me I dont have A right to comlplain about the Cowboys new owner. I think not ...........the Cowboys have a way better record when Clint Murchison was owner and he was smart enought to let the staff he hired do the work to make the Cowboys one of the best franchises in football. I suppose you were cherring for Jerry jones when he fired the whole Staff I bet you werent etheir

...........the Cowboys have a way better record when Clint Murchison was owner and he was smart enought to let the staff he hired do the work to make the Cowboys one of the best franchises in football.
Tom Landry, Tex Schramm, Gilbert Brandt and Clint Murchison were all the master minds for the Cowboys success. They all worked together.
|
| 2009 / 2010 The Dallas Cowboys Posted: 9/28/2010 5:07:08 PM | | And Shram ,Brant, and Landry had way more sucees than Jerry Jones had because Murchinson stayed out of their way. Unlike Jerry Jones who has done nothing but go through different coaches since Jimmy Johnson left. It hasnt been the same since Jerry Jones took over but I still like the team despite him. | |
|
| 2009 / 2010 The Dallas Cowboys Posted: 9/28/2010 5:21:36 PM | | One thing Jones has over the Murchinson era is Super Bowl wins with 3 in 4 four years with two of them back to back. Murchinson era has more playoff wins and appearances but time will tell. | |

| 2009 / 2010 The Dallas Cowboys Posted: 9/28/2010 5:47:37 PM | Dorsett33 im a few yards older than you. i can go back to 1966 and see merideth layed out on the 50 yard line. i rememeber it being cold when my dad and i would go out to his pick up and listen to the cowboy games on the radio. i dont remember if they were televisied. great times alot of fond memories coming home from church and seeing that man in the hat walk up and down the sidelines.
i loved tom landry i even got married once on his birthday. respected the man greatly. in shrams 29 years he won 2 super bowls, jerry jones 3 in 18.
theres the new cowboy stadium, here we call it jerry's world. he brings in talent but he cant guarantee how well they will perform. all nfl owners have the final say on what goes on with their team. we have always wanted a super bowl here and thanks to jones/staubach/hill(remember him?) we are getting one.
you may think jerry jones doesnt know football, but he does.
probably in our lifetime will be able to see owner/gm/coach

| 2009 / 2010 The Dallas Cowboys Posted: 9/29/2010 2:25:12 AM | ooops MGM
Guess I had better go back to typing school? I hadnt slept in 2 days when I posted it but I think HD knew who I was talking about . Either way Im sure you agree MGM the Cowboys kept that same staff in tact for for 29 years as Landry was the only coach the Cowboys had in all that time. They should have made a solid Gold Fedora to cover the old Stadium in his honor.
