Do you look good for your age?

I know I dont feel my chronological age, cant say I feel much different inside than when I was about 25. Would not want to go back tho, prefer to savour all my life experiences and enjoy the confidence they have brought me. A lot of people disbelieve my age (54)but I cant see it myself. Why do people say, your not really that old, you cant be. I know some lie about their age but they dont usually add on! lol Its attitude to life, not someones age that really matters to me.

I keep fit with all the dogwalking I do - so managed to keep my figure, but worry about the smile lines (mustn't smile so much!) and the frown lines (argh).

With the summer I think we all feel quite good with a bit of a tan, and feel younger. Think I am just right for my age - also dependent on the night before, sleep and eating properly.

I look good for my age on a good day but i look my age the rest of the time.
I feel younger than i did 10 years ago though, i think thats due to life being easier and not as much stress so i don't think i look as haggared as i did.

Looking good for your age is more to do with doing your best with what you have. I reckon when we get over the thirty thing we all look in the mirror and there are a few things we notice could do with a bit of help. I never have looked my age (maybe never acted it either) which was a real pain when I was younger , but no matter what age you are, you know you feel a great when you have made a bit of effort and look in the mirror and think you don’t look like a bag of spuds …yet!
I still reckon old Sean Connery could pull more woman on this site than any guy…and he’s been collecting his pension for years!

You think you've got problems? Some days I wake up and I resemble my Gran and I had nothing to drink the night before!

I am pretty much ok with the way I look. Darned mirror tells me some home truths. One day I'll look in it and feel fantastic, next day I'll think where the heck did all those wrinkles come from. Do I want to look younger ............ yes, but I would much rather be 'me' , so none of this quick fix botox etc for me, thank you. Just found out I had a grey hair last week and I'm 48.

Some days are better than others.
I don't like the lines from my nose to my mouth, and it takes a while when I wake up to get rid of the vertical lines where I've been squishing my face against the pillow.

On saying that, I think most folk think they look good for their age. I don't know many who think otherwise.

I totally agree.......
Just like they say in the car business there is an A** for every seat.....meaning we all have someone out there that thinks we are the best thing since sliced bread...

When the supermarkets first bought in the challenge 25, Asda refused to sell me beer because I didn't have any ID on me. I was in complete shock at the time. Afterwards I thought about it & took it as a compliment.

These days I carry my driving license with me. Although they are asking me less often now, my wrinkles must have started to creep in, hee hee.

Who knows. I recently discovered I was 1 year younger than I thought I was. For some reason I woke up around a year ago thinking I was 39, instead of 38. I convinced myself that this website was wrong when it calculated age from DOB. Anyway, after my mother and sisters had taken the piss for about 22 minutes, it finally dawned on me that I had been given, no donated, an extra year of life!

Now, I've been asked for ID in Waitrose and Tesco. Tesco policy is to ask anyone who looks under 25 for ID, believe it or not. I'm always flattered, but tend to think that the people doing the ID'ing are cretins, rather than that I actually look under 25. If you beg to differ, please send me a detailed message that I can print out and stick onto my lounge wall.

I was asked for id in Sainsburys about three weeks ago when buying champagne. At first I was stupidly flattered but then reality hit and I realised two things. The cashier was about 125 so in comparison to her I was a child. And if they sell alcohol to anyone underage the individual cashier is liable for a fine.

I don't act my age, but now I'm starting to look like my dad. He didn't act his age either. I keep noticing this old bloke in shop mirrors. Some of the time it's me. A younger bloke lives in my head.

i look very good indeed, as am still going out dancing all night long, many clubbers think i am 37 years old. mind you my healthy life style and good work outs every day shave many years of my age.

What Really gets my goat is that my older brother actually looks much younger than me, by at least 10 years.

..and he never tires of rubbing it in!

Well remember as each passing year goes by Father Time makes its own mark...my brother was the same..now he has a paunch..bald front with his still floppy pony tail at rear...reminds me of a cart horse...so inwardly I smile now when we meet.

If your content with yourself...why worry what others think? If really panicking over it see a Beautician or consider cosmetic surgery...but best of all save your money and just live your life with your looks as you see fit
