Now people trying to flatter me take about 5yrs off my age, not realising that it doesn't exactly make my heart leap to know I've aged 5 times faster than I should have done lately! | |

Was out in Swansea a fortnight ago when this guy comes onto me and accuses me of being in my late 20s. After seeing me laugh till me sides split, he said ok, I was trying to get on your good side, you're about 33 innit...

Posted: 8/17/2009 2:10:27 AM | I have to laugh when I get met with disbelief! On numerous occasions the question of age has come up with both males and females, when I tell them how old I am I get told that i'm lying and that there's no way i'm that old.
A few weeks ago though I was asked for ID to get into a teeny boppers nightclub I was in shock cause even with candlelight and a facelift there is no way I would ever pass for a teenager!! | |

When you look in the mirror what do you think? Are you happy with what you see or do you long to change the way you look?
I'd jump at the chance of a nose job if finances would stretch. | |

I've never once been asked for ID when buying anything, even when I was well under-age.

If accurate, up-to-date and truly representative photos are provided on a profile then someone looking will be able to assess for themselves whether the individual is attractive or not.
I'm not really sure why this is linked with age.
Members quote in their profiles that they look younger (or their friends say they look younger) than their age................ so what? (attractiveness is subjective).
I will look at photos and decide for myself whether I'd consider them to look good (for their age?) or not. Others will do the same when viewing my profile.
To me, an attractive 60 year old would be preferable to an ugly 40 year old - this is of course a subjective remark based purely on 'looks'.
I daresay we all know people who are old 20 year olds and also know young 60 year olds... but our assessment of them tends then to be based on character as well as looks.
Do I look good for my age? I don't know... others will (rightfully) decide.
I daresay a 20/30 something would regard me as repulsive whilst a 60 year old might consider me to be an 'OK' young man! | |
