I have to agree the line is true and makes perfect sense. I also believe that if it is meant to be it will be. we are all predestined to what is going to happen to us. We just haven't found out what it is until it happens.

Posted: 4/3/2005 3:35:54 PM | i agree with you on that one. i dont believe in love at first sight either. love takes time...it takes patience with the other person ... reminds of me of the verse, "love is patient, love is kind..." i think we use the term fall because that can be what it feels like...like your losing control of your independence and every fiber in your body asking is this ok? will i be hurt? and all those questions. ive never been in love but thats what i take it from other people ive know who were.

| Falling in love.... online????? Posted: 5/21/2005 11:55:05 PM | | The problem is mainly geographical. Despite the fact that we can converse with anyone anywhere in the world, distance poses a great problem, may as well live on the moon for all the chance there is of anything developing. | |

| Falling in love.... online????? Posted: 5/22/2005 8:30:55 AM | i have to say that distance is a big factor at times.. and it causes a problem if you let the emotions go.. there has been several ladies here i would love to meet and know.. however distance is a large factor.. but when it comes to letting yourself search.. if you truely want to make the step and venture out you can and will find what you seek.. if you let the emotions out and then the step moves into play.. you may happen to make the best step of your life..love may be a click of the keys and the pick up of the keys.. who knows until we try..is that not why we are here to seek and find the one we are wanting to love.

| Falling in love.... online????? Posted: 5/22/2005 9:23:14 AM | I told her she has never even met me, how can she be in love with me?
Im responding to jasksonblue....Ive had a guy do that to me...and i told him that we have never met before how can you love me. I take MY love seriously...and yes thats why i caped "my" because different ppl have different ways of describing love for them...Well anyways he just said i was pretty, caring, and kind. Uh okay lol, that can describe anyone. So I think the real reason he said it was because he is lonely and he probably wanted some booty...who knows for sure cuz i stopped talking to him a while after that....but he kept saying he was going to kill himself... Which of course i didnt believe cuz he was just trying to get me to talk to him...but why do ppl use the word kill myself when all else fells...uh what do they think were going to say "oh no dont do that ill take you back"...no, most ppl are going to think you are crazy and leave your butt along lol. I dont really have a point to this even tho there could be one somewhere in all that stuff i wrote...but heck i got bored what can i say...thanx for listening Ashley

Im with you
you just have to consider what people have many concepts of what love is... and some do believe in lust, I mean love at first sight.
People have many beliefs about romantic love... just like they do about MONEY some people obsess about it, some use to to gain somethimg, some hoard it.. lol Its pretty much the same prinicpal. If people want to FALL into love... they will... and to them that is LOVE... water floats to its own level.

| Falling in love.... online????? Posted: 5/22/2005 12:09:49 PM | paradoxx its true as is everything it all takes time. but no matter what you have to seek and what better way then to come where a lot of people meet. Hence POF and a few other places around.
Oh and no I don't need a plane train or automobile I have three outside now. can only do one thing at a time anyways. at least as far as driving goes.
Still all in all we come here for several different reasons. I came here because a friend told me of the site and the people here. She spoke of the forums and the people in them. I joined because I like to write and it gets me away from work for a bit. Not long but for a bit. since joining I have met some fine people and saw a few that well I won't go there. If I happen to find the one I will fall in love with all the more power to us. I don't pass up the chance to try and this is one avenue that there is to take when you don't like the bar scene. I passed that stage in my life when I was in my twenties. point is to this we have to seek out and find and this is one way to meet people and possibly get lucky. Can't hurt to try.

| Falling in love.... online????? Posted: 5/22/2005 12:42:23 PM | | What I think happens is that we are looking to connect hoping to find the one, the danger is when we do have a connection with someone we project and imagine them to be what we want what we are looking for. I try to read between the lines, see what the reality might actually be. ask questions like do you drive fast or slow like sushi or steak? But falling in love online can't really happen you have to meet and get to know someone but it can start here. Someone here said they believed that we are all destined to meet that someone. I think if that is true then the someone, something God? has to orchestrate the meeting. If I were God I would think that arranging a meeting online would be easier than co-ordinating a meeting in the produce section of the local supermarket at say 6pm on sunday. At first I didn't have much faith in meeting anyone this way but I have met some really great people. I am glad it exists. | |

| my thaughts on this Posted: 5/22/2005 11:44:24 PM | i would say yes it can happen and some times you dont need to be with them to fall in love with them because its how deep you let the person in or how deep that person lets you in depends call me silly or foolish but i have felt it and lived it | |

| Falling in love.... online????? Posted: 5/22/2005 11:52:09 PM | | I, personally think, that to fall in love, truly, with someone, you have to spend time with them...Not online, but in person...I think you can have lust on line, but not real love...Just my opinion...redneckgirl133 | |

| Falling in love.... online????? Posted: 5/22/2005 11:56:04 PM | you said it....
I've become attracted to someone online, but falling in love?
suggests that something is missing in your life if a void is filled so easily...
