I'm looking forward to seeing all of you on Saturday, Aug 29th. (4:30pm - 8:30pm). At the first event at POPBURGER'S, I left there after 9pm, and there were still some Plenty of Fish folks at the Lounge.
If by some chance, you are not able to attend, please remember to kindly REMOVE your RSVP, so that I may give a more accurate guest attendee number to the POPBURGER PEOPLE. After all, they are nice enough to provide COMPLIMENTARY FRIES AND ONION RINGS AT THE BAR!!! SO IT HELPS TO REALLY KNOW HOW MANY MAY ATTEND.
The event should be a very easy-to-talk-to-friendly bunch of POF folks :)
The FOOD IS GREAT!!!! So, hang out a while, and have a bite to eat. You can see the LOUNGE MENU AT WWW.POPBURGER.COM to get an idea of yummy selections/descriptions/prices. See the EVENT INVITE FOR THE DETAILS OF THE $5 BEER & THE $9 FLIRTINI. These are the special prices for POF!
(A Flirtini is usually $15 !)
THERE WILL BE FRIES (i love these!!!!!!) at the bar, and ONION RINGS TOO! For all of us to enjoy (yes, complimentary)

THERE ARE MENU SELECTIONS FOR VEGETARIANS, TOO!!! YUMMY!
We will have some CREATIVE FUN WITH A 'DRAW A FISH" CONTEST!
And if we're in the mood for some good, old fashioned belly laughs---we'll share some funny OLD dating stories. I've heard a few already, and it should be fun!! NO NAMES WILL BE MENTIONED--IT IS ALL ABOUT THE LAUGHS, NOT ABOUT BEING MEAN.
AND, AS ALWAYS, PLEASE REMEMBER YOUR MANNERS. TREAT PEOPLE WITH RESPECT, THE WAY YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED. These simple reminders help to make it a very pleasant event.

REMEMBER, THE ENTRANCE IS THE DOOR NEXT TO THE POPBURGER STREET LEVEL RESTAURANT. YOU WANT TO WALK UP THE STAIRS TO GET TO THE LOUNGE.

I'M SO SORRY ABOUT THAT. I WAS E-MAILING YOU VIA MY BLACKBERRY AND I BLOCKED YOU BY MISTAKE. THAT'S THE LAST TIME I WRITE SOMEONE WITHOUT MY READING GLASSES ON...LOL... AS YOU ALREADY KNOW I CORRECTED THE ERROR AND COMMUNICATION IS OPEN ONCE AGAIN. I REALLY LOOK FORWARD TO A GOOD TIME HAD BY ALL ON SATURDAY AND AS FOR MYSELF I'M HOPING TO MEET SOMEONE SPECIAL OR AT THE VERY LEAST MAKE A FEW NEW FRIENDS.

Posted: 8/27/2009 4:39:40 PM | Jeannie...when we meet, in person, I will share some funny tales of "mis-directed" emails, texts, and phone conversations. There are some, I WISH wearing my reading glasses would have prevented! It was a brain or memory that I was lacking!!!! When the "OOPS!" have occured......it is a good way to determine if someone TRULY has the sense of humor, they claim! :)
Reva.......I regret to tell you I am, most likely, not attending. So far, it is not a good-week-end for my neices, to have me. I am trusting that, due to your wonderful "put a mixer together" talents, there will be more to come! I wanted to meet people/ new friends, in general, not just a "magic producing" man. That would of only been a bonus.
If I do not make it...I WILL be aware of what I am missing........those Popburgers! :) Seriously....PLEASE DO PLAN A SEQUEL, so that I can meet the woman, who salivates over those burgers. Is the idea to find a man, who is as impressive, to nibble on?!!!!:) | |

Posted: 8/29/2009 10:20:13 AM | BRITTPJ---sorry you won't be attending today's Aug 29th POPBURGER LOUNGE EVENT, but I will probably do more of them....and i'm working on an additional event somewhere else, too....so hopefully, you'll be able to attend something soon, as your schedule permits.
And, it sounds like we could all exchange FUNNY STORIES ABOUT EMAILS TOO! and the hi tech devices they are sent on.
FOR THOSE ATTENDING---SEE YOU SOON! A PERFECT RAINY DAY TO COME TO A POF EVENT...INDOORS, NICE PEOPLE, GOOD FOOD/DRINKS....OK!!!
