I wonder if they have different "languages" in different parts of Colorado. I wonder if they are shunned by their own kind because of xenophobia. I wonder if they find "the one", and why s/he is always in the same air vent they are? The fly moved 'at 85mph' for the same reason you were - because the environment (the car and everything in it, including the air) was moving at that speed.
