I'm sure all the Frog Princes were despatched during the Napoleonic years?

| Frog Or Prince ? Posted: 8/14/2009 4:34:16 PM | All the frogs/princes are subject to EU regulations. The UK has not met it's quota of accepting metric frogs, so will not be allowed any Imperial Princes for the considerable future.
Sub standard toads are freely available, but have a less than 99% chance of turning into a Prince.

| Frog Or Prince ? Posted: 8/15/2009 1:52:09 AM | Does the Froggy thing apply to females too?
If not what do men call the nice looking girls they date that turn out to be issued up, cynical , hypochondriac, manic-depressants???
- or are these simply called "women over 40"

| Frog Or Prince ? Posted: 8/16/2009 1:32:11 AM | | I don't know but isn't the point of the Frog/Prince story that the girl kisses the Frog because she loves him anyway? She doesn't know that kissing the Frog will turn him into a Prince, she's content with him being the Frog. Only a thought, but perhaps there's a better moral here than at first meets the eye? Perhaps seeking the Prince is not the point? | |

| Frog Or Prince ? Posted: 8/16/2009 2:18:16 AM | Interesting thought Pimp ... what is the female equivalent to frogs and princes? I'd wonder if Cinderella Syndrome is the main cause of frogs and prince analogies. | |

| Frog Or Prince ? Posted: 8/16/2009 2:43:01 AM | Phil,
I agree, the point of the story is that a prince is a prince because of his inner qualities, and not because of his looks or the trappings of his riches. Those inner qualities are what really matters. It took a more special woman than average to know this well enough to recognise it when she saw it.

| Frog Or Prince ? Posted: 8/16/2009 3:08:36 AM | | That doesn't happen on here very often, I can tell you. It's also interesting that it's the way in which she treats and responds to him that turns him into a Prince. Perhaps if more Frogs were treated like potential Princes, then they would respond to that. Treat them like a toad, you just get a toad. If I might also point out that you very rarely hear men complain about the 'Frogettes' that they have known. | |

| Frog Or Prince ? Posted: 8/16/2009 3:20:08 AM | ^^^^^^ ha ha be a woman on here, and listen to the men complain about the Frogettes that they have known from here. Now i am laughing | |

| Frog Or Prince ? Posted: 8/16/2009 3:22:26 AM | Phil, you don't hear men talking about frogettes because so many of them just wouldn't be that polite! | |
