No, I'm not ready. Dang, I better get my butt in gear.
I've cleaned the lens of my camera and the battery is charging up right now.
There are 13 guests for the potluck Thanksgiving dinner, a good-sized crowd.
I bought a 18 lb. turkey yesterday. I guess I should start thawing it on Thursday. I hope it fits in the roaster.  | |

I just checked it... I can feel a wee bit of give in the surface, not rock hard, so its starting.to soften. Should work out perfectly.
"titivate" ooooh, what a lovely word. Thank you. 
I don't remember ever hearing it before (though evidently my spell checker is familiar with it).

I could bring some gauzy scarves a la belly dancing???tambourines???fancy little drums???
brass bowls to make *sing*???(No, BE...ya can't serve mashed potatos in 'em!!!)
I'll bring some serving bowls!
the firemen just left...without the cheesecake...I caught the oven on fire while toasting the almond/sour cream layer*darn chicken had spilled a bit in the bottom of the oven*
HOWEVER...BOTH cheesecake are just fine!
two sleeps, then the INVASION!!!

I am committed (but out on a weekend pass) to house-sitting and goldfish feeding for my son in Victoria. I have to be a good role model... even if the boy is over 21! lol
