Just me then??? If I was a conspiracy theorist I might think that Dannii's comment on Saturday night was a deliberate red herring to allow Robbie Williams to get away with what he did.
Having a drug addled ego maniac telling 12 million people that "Jesus didn't die for you" on a Sunday night is rather tasteless.
I don't mind a bit of outrage, I would have been happier to have seen Throbbing Gristle perform a cover version of The Sex Pistols song Bodies.But this was just a pathetic attempt to appear to be 'cutting edge'.

For me Sunday night television should be a dog saying "sausages" and Ronnie Corbett saying "....and now Miss Barbara****on"

It'll be interesting to see if the Brothers Grim stay in again this week.I hope along with them either Ricky or Rachel are in the bottom as well.

Joe McElridge is the best singer all round. Faultless with a very unusual quality... could easily see myself listening to one of his albums.

After tonights performance, ive actually changed my mind about Jamie Afro, i thought he was a one trick pony, and wouldnt live up to that first performance, but boy i was wrong........he rocked tonight!

Id some laugh watching them twins, i thought they were stupidly hilarious..........but its a singing competition, and to put it simply...................they cant sing!

Stacey was fantastic, and so was little Joe, the rest were just ok!

Danyl is starting to get on my nerves!

hated the twins, the very thought of so much talent not going through for them to do so and prance around the stage like some third rate gay act is terrible...be honest if you saw them on your local holiday camp you'd think "crap"..

Stacey was okish this evening, jamie and olly stood out for me.

Some of them just couldn't handle those big songs could they? I agree Joe came across beautifully, I voted for him although I like a lot of them and still like Danyl. Jamie Afro's was his best ever performance for me, personally I think the young lad (Lee is it?) is in danger after tonight and wasn't it odd to see Cheryl crumble? She looks increasingly nervous about performing live tomorrow night! Simon was as rude and blunt as ever but they're all clearly groomed not to react and thank the judges for their comments!

Watched it online last night. I can't understand why Louis Walsh put those twins in, they are awful. I thought Joe gave the performance of the night, I'd like to see him do well.

As for Cheryl singing or not singing live, I don't see why she should have to. Alexandra mimed last week and Cheryl's already been seen going through the reality tv process, singing live every week.

Olly still my favourite and all round entertainer but I also enjoy watching all the rest. Must say that Joe has a great soothing melodic voice wouldn't mind hearing him on a CD though he is most boring to watch. The twins were awful but so awful yet watchable! lol

ee'up, where you been, sod X factor, are the Tangerines going oop to the Premiership or what this year. (off topic).

Out of the singoff, Ricky had to go, cr@p song choice, especially given this weeks circumstances, and when the playback came, his 1st audition was stronger.I would say twins last one more week and then the Irish run out of money, or we torch all the BT boxes within 10 miles of every airport

I think Rachel should have gone tonight, I thought her performance last night was awful. Also Rikki was miles better than Miss Frank, they were tuneless. As for the twins, it's car crash telly, I wonder how many people they will knock out on the weeks to come.

I think this years finalists aren't as good as last years by a mile. I think Danyl thinks it's already won, I think Olly is a good entertainer but not that great vocally. The two I do rate are Stacey and Joe, what a performance he gave last night.

As for the voting, it was assumed last week how Louis would vote so it went to deadlock, this week he didn't vote but they spoke to him just after the show ended.
I think that in his absence this week either someone should have stood in for him or the public votes should have counted.

Unfair on both people who ended up in the bottom two. Louis putting through the twins has to rate as the duffest decision in the shows history.

I got addicted last year, I am musical so like to think I have some sensible input, our drummer is the best in the league (off topic)roll on the nobbers in 2 weeks.
I think Simon knew Ricky wasn't going to get any further having gone downhill from the auditions, and Rachel has a good voice, just no confidence.
Next week is big band week, and I expect the twins will finally expire, as their view of a big band will be The Proclaimers

I think its time you all stopped blaming the Irish for the Twins getting this far........its YOU......The UK viewers that are voting to keep them in.....we have no say in the matter!

I actually think they are going to go far in the competition, not cos they're talented, but because they are annoying the life out of everyone.........and every show needs a bad guy!!

I think Simon thought Rikki might have been a bigger threat to some of his acts than Rachel. You do get tactical voting going on, there was a lot of it last year. I think Rikki was nervous as well but I think the wrong person went tonight. I wasn't impressed with Rachel last week or last night, she really struggles to hit high notes. Miss Frank were also out of tune badly.

I think Lucie and Lloyd are also going to struggle in the next couple of weeks. Nerves are going to affect people, but the twins are just awful, you don't need to be musical or able to read music to know that they can't hold a tune. They'll probably make a fortune though after this is all over.

Joe is the one to watch.

joe, olly and jamie are the strongest by far.. joe has the voice, jamie has the unique voiced as opposed to the normal pop voice of joe and olly has the charisma.. and sometimes charisma ovverides singing ability..robbie williams for example.

I started this thread with such hope but sorry to say I am not really enjoying x factor very much this time round. Cant really say I'd be that bothered about who wins none of them are what you would call outstanding. And not sure I enjoy watching struggling has been super stars struggle to get their careers back on track either. I retract my statement about saturdays worth staying in for I'd much rather go out and watch highlights (if there are any) on youtube.
