| X factor 2009 Posted: 10/25/2009 3:01:10 PM | I think it becomes more obvious each week how cunningly the judges are favouring their own acts, often deriding the acts that threaten their artists the most. Either it seems like a game to them or they get some sort of mega bonus if their act wins 'cos I think it's more than competative spirit between them!
I cannot believe Danyl was nearly out tonight, I voted for Joe, Danyl and Lucie because I think they have the best voices...
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 10/25/2009 3:05:39 PM | | I couldnt believe danyl was in the bottom two but thats the name of the game. The public vote not always for the the most talented but for the act they like the look of. I would think quite a large proportion of voters are young girls. The twins would appeal to them. | |
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 10/25/2009 3:28:30 PM | LOL ok so Ireland can't vote - but there are millions of Irish over here!
Mind you, there is no telling what the British public will vote for next - look how they kept voting John Sargeant in to that dancing show...I never watched it but at least I hear he had the good grace to bow out and let the REAL tallent have a crack at winning
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 10/26/2009 12:27:55 AM | ..... so you are telling me no-one in Ireland knows how to change the proxy server on their PC and vote using skype? !!!! Louis has lost his best act, now he will suffer like the rest of us until the twins get the boot, which can't be much longer........ can it?? | |
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 10/26/2009 1:45:30 AM | I think you lot should be giving Irish people a bit more credit than this. They have some of the best singers and muscians around the world, do you really think they would vote for people JUST because they are Irish.....no way, they would be more worried about their music heritage being give a bad name. Im half Irish and thats what my folks are telling me so there
The twins are trully awful singers and cant dance but I think they actually have a TV future ahead of them, I can see them as Kids TV presenters and defo doing panto...which is something I would go to see just to watch them fluff their lines and mess up the dance routines hah.
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 10/26/2009 12:01:59 PM | I apologise for the blatant steal of this, but it had to be shared IMO.
Dear Grim Reaper, so far this year you have taken my fav celebrity, Jade. My fav dancer, Michael Jackson. My fav actor, Patrick Swayze and now my fav singer Stephen Gately! Just to let you know my fav twins are John and Edward
I'm sure the twins have a great future in Panto so if they could just shuffle off that way to rehearsals >>>>>>>> I would be delirious with joy at not having to see them on the X-Factor again.

| X factor 2009 Posted: 10/27/2009 5:54:35 AM | According to the paper the twins got the highest amount of votes and apparently are a hit as they are 'cute' and 'funny' and 'entertaining' | |
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 10/27/2009 6:21:29 AM |
apparently are a hit as they are 'cute' and 'funny' and 'entertaining' But can they sing? Hell no! Looks like Danyl is on overdrive in the papers for upsetting Stacey, the judges are fighting with each other and the wee geordie lad hit Lucie with a tamborine. Im so disappointed in that geordie lad…he should have beat J&E senseless with it and got them to leave the show on crutches…before that comment upsets anyone, it is just my opinion (but I suspect I may have a few supporters)!
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 10/27/2009 6:29:54 AM | I like Stacey Solomon (apart from her gushing OMG OMG talk) and the now departed Miss Frank group
At least Miss Frank have some chance of getting a recording deal and going further in the music industry
The terrible twins need voting out, they remind me of the cheeky girls they only remain in for the novelty value
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 10/27/2009 6:35:46 AM | | Yes stacey has a nice voice but when she speaks she lets herself down a bit. Rachel was even worse this week. I find all that gushing a bit cringeable. | |
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 10/27/2009 6:39:55 AM | The only gushing I want to see on X Factor is when I get to smash a certain pair of twins heads together for upsetting my life so much!
If I get my way the twins may have a couple of weeks…before I bury the pair of them, and I will claim mental cruelty in my defence
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 10/27/2009 6:41:45 AM | Long may the twins stay in and annoy the intolerant .
They are the most entertaining act by far. Yep, they can't sing, but they make up for it in other areas...
I think they've only got a couple of weeks left though, but you just never know!
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 10/27/2009 5:17:30 PM | This may be considered off topic as it is not relevant to X factor 2009 but to 2008, so I apologise but please bear with me.
I have just had the pleasure of seeing and hearing Diana Vickers in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice and she was a-may-zing and I heartily recommend that if you get the chance go see her.
I loved her in the X-factor although I knew she wouldn't win, but the way she has grown and developed she has done herself proud, and I wish her every success in the future
| |
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 10/27/2009 5:26:42 PM | Always liked Diana. I can't wait for the week the twins sing a ballad, no backing vocals, just them.
They are awful but if they win this Cowell only has himself to blame.
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 10/27/2009 6:40:54 PM | Do you use them where once it would have been Razzle magazine?
I would prefer it if you did not put your 'self-pleasure' material (two young boys) on to me .
Anyway, I have no idea what your response has gotta do with the topic of this thread .
I quite like them as entertainers, as they are the best entertainers on the show, but I don't like them as vocalists. However, I have the pleasure of admiring those who play to their strengths and subsequently do quite well.
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 10/28/2009 12:25:03 AM | John & Edward to win the X Factor 2009 – errrrrrrr NO Who are voting for these two clowns, I mean common. Obviously people are finding them funny entertaining but they can’t sing, period!!!! How can you win the show when you can’t sing?
I actually only live 10mins down the road from Stacey and I can honestly say that I have never heard anyone speak quite like that lol, is she on something? Funny stuff.
Apparently the other day, news reports said that on last weeks show that John & Edward topped the voting by quite some distance, wtf????
Ok my prediction: 1. (Winner) Joe or Stacey 2. (Runner up) Joe or Stacey 3. The Twins (They will continue to get a lot of votes until the public see sense!!) 4. Lucie (good voice but not strong enough - can’t see it progressing to the final) 5. Olly Murs (fans favourite – great personality but does not have the best voice in the competition although he can dance) 6. Danyl Johnson (powerful voice but can’t seem to think where he will get all the votes from – what type of audience will he be attracting?????) 7. Lloyd Daniels (the young girls like him) 8. Jamie Archer (good rocker but not many people will vote) 9. Rachel Adedeji (will be voted off on this week’s show)
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 10/28/2009 1:25:41 AM | Re: the twins......
In our office its been called "the john sargent syndrome"..... they are so bad that people actually are voting for them to stay in to see what they do next..... also those who don't really like the programme can stick two fingers up at the judges......
bearing in mind it is all on the public vote till the last 2..... its the perfect way of breaking the programme........
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 10/28/2009 8:43:21 AM | | I find it really boring , don't you?? | |
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 10/28/2009 1:23:38 PM | I still like Olly the best, liking Joe's pure singing voice and like Stacey for her daftness. Others are boring boring boring Simon Cowal is devil in disguise but really the show wouldn't be the same without him. | |
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 10/30/2009 11:49:49 AM | | If they are singing live, can someone explain to me why every single one of them are given a new mic to speak in to when being interviewed, even though they are still holding the mic they supposedly sang live in to moments before. | |
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 11/1/2009 1:36:09 PM | I am pleased that public haven't let me down again and have managed to keep the twins in .
I mean where would I get my entertainment from, as I find the intolerance towards them quite amusing.
Long may the good work of the public continue
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 11/1/2009 1:51:54 PM | My 9 yr old lurveees them ^^ and was trying to get me to vote .. no chance
Its all about Olly Murs!!!!!!
Or Stacey ;-) | |

Ha-ha, it's nice to see that your littlen has the ability to acknowledge entertainment.
They can't sing for love nor money, but they can put a performance together.
Its all about Olly Murs!!!!!! Or Stacey ;-)
Not bad choices, I quite like the Welsh girl and Joe I think his name is.
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 11/1/2009 2:05:42 PM | My kids came back from her dads today after having a halloween party there last night, their dad had cut them J-Edward faces out the paper and made masks..
Yep... my kids scared alot of people last night! Including me when they came running at me down my path earlier..
Before they came on singing last night, I had this feeling they would do Queens 'I want to break free' Now that would have been funny... stockings.. mini skirts.. wigs.. feather dusters lol!
|
| X factor 2009 Posted: 11/1/2009 11:10:33 PM | | just goes to show the voting public don't have a clue about anything anymore lol i mean, come on..rachel was one of the best singers this week and she got voted off? please.. get some taste please public. | |
