| What someone does that really turn you off? Posted: 9/3/2009 9:41:46 AM | -Misandry and other forms of bigotry -illiteracy -People who believe in things without understanding why -Contradictory beliefs such as being a Socialist/Leftist and also claiming to be an Anarchist at the same time. -Immaturity -Bad teeth -Nose hair -Ear hair -people who expect you to be a mind reader -people who only like you if you go along with what they say no matter how nonsensical it is -girls that dress really hot to attract attention but then give dirty looks when people give them attention -People that say one thing and then do another. Such as how some girls talk about wanting a nice guy... but then she goes for the Bad Boy... all the while complaining that every guy she's dated turns out to be an @sshole. And it gets funny when such a person talks about being smart... -People that only like you or only have the time for you if you're doing favours for them. -Electronic Gadget freaks who think that just because they own the newest cr@p, that makes them 'a techie'. | |

| What someone does that really turn you off? Posted: 9/3/2009 10:25:21 AM | | ^^^ Great list. I will add to it the people who, while being in a one-on-one conversation, neglect to turn off their phones, or worse yet, will answer their phones and then proceed to talk-it-up while ignoring the actual company they're in. | |

| What someone does that really turn you off? Posted: 9/3/2009 10:39:20 AM | * People who are rude to servers. * People with extreme political views, especially conservative ones. The ultra religious as well. * Obesity. A few extra pounds is cool and even preferred, but beyond that I just don't find it attractive. * Indecisiveness. * Wanting a long term relationship to magically develop before even a week as passed since we met. * For lack of a better description, a woman who wants nothing better in the world than to be like June Cleaver. And there are plenty of them out there. | |

| What someone does that really turn you off? Posted: 9/3/2009 11:21:35 AM | I had one suggest he was Johnny Knoxville from Jackass What a Jacka$$ and his profile said he resembled Dr. House. NOT!!
Lying right off the bat insults my intelligence. Don't try to pretend to be someone you are not! We talk all the time how the creators of Jackass were once down and out and homeless. They made the movie and hit it big.

He'd even do it in supermarket lines, he would raise his leg and shout "excuse me" and laugh. He was an idiot. I told him to grow up when I was four.
Nah, he was just being polite!
If he were being rude, he would have said, "I farted, whoops."
As for me, I usually just chuckle to myself or wait for someone to comment.. then laugh harder.

Actually, my biggest turn off is adults still playing high school games

I know, I know... I have freakishly high standards.

| What someone does that really turn you off? Posted: 9/4/2009 8:22:38 AM | - Not clean - Bad teeth - POF profiles of older women who make a point of "complaining" about all the young men that contact them but are really bragging since there's an age restriction option. Older women who go out of their way to mention or show how "young at heart they are". Both of these things are a COMPLETE turn off and show incredible insecurity problems about aging. - Anybody who doesn't like me. | |

| What someone does that really turn you off? Posted: 9/4/2009 6:15:36 PM | | Loudness above all. There's nothing worse than a date with a shrieking voice which carries. Easily distracted dates (who keep looking at cell-phone, etc.) are date-killers, too. That's about it. Most women are decent and thoughtful on dates, so I've rarely had singular events happen that were huge turn-offs. | |

you wouldn't like rickey henderson (ex-baseball player) then. rickey henderson loved talking about rickey henderson in the third person.

You have got a lot to learn kiddo. It's not hard to walk into the bathroom or step outside during dinner.
Talking about themselves. their likes and passions, but not interested in what others think or feel.

lol, no I wouldn't like him either!
Big turn off I just remember a guy who was very sweet via e-mail, nice on the phone, then we met and he said " I'm going to have to bring you 3 notches down, I'm sure every other guy pays you complements but not me! " I wonder why he was 50 plus and had never been married?

| What someone does that really turn you off? Posted: 9/7/2009 11:32:00 AM | Wanting to do something that I'm not interested in. Like seeing a movie on a first date, and wanting to make out.
Other things are dirty nails, ear wax, do rags (I can't stand them), sagging (as in pants falling half off a guys ass), walking the streets with no shirt on, ugly toes, overweight, man boobs, nbeer belly, doing hardcore drugs, too much drinking, smoking (yuck), showing up to a date wearing shades, bad hygiene, etc. The list goes on.

| What someone does that really turn you off? Posted: 9/7/2009 11:38:06 AM | | Bad grammar is a huge turnoff as well as using a cell phone. I pretty much tell the person I am with if you pick up that cell during a convo it better be for a good reason. | |
