Arrogance
Control and patronization
Bitterness and resentment that constantly bubbles into conversations
Cell phones during a date unless it is someone's own child or a work deadline emergency (that one I understand; but not a shoot the breeze type conversation or stopping a conversation to text.. that one I REALLY don't get lol)
Treating a person as if they don't have a brain in their head (or as if it doesn't matter if they do or don't). One dimensionality and shallowness.
Dishonesty and disingenuity... appreciate openness and genuineness.

Dead people.... So inconsiderate and no, it's not pale and interesting. Huh!
Yeah I know, eh! You know what turns me off? All these alive people who do all this excessive breathing... especially those losers into fitness... Geez... You'd think they'd die or something if they didn't use so much air...

- Someone who references their ex all the time. An ex is an ex for a reason. If your constantly comparing someone to your ex, your never really raising that bar to get someone better, are you? | |

Reading the profiles on this site I get turned off by lots of things that people write. Some guys actually write about how much they like sex................derrrrrr!!!!  Like that's going to make me email you.
If I was on a date the one thing that would really turn me off would be if he tried to grope me (which really did happen). Blocked him as soon as I got home................

I've gotten that a few times! Not to the point they stopped dating me because of it, but they made it quite clear they didn't care for it. Kind of an old-school thing, I guess. | |

Yes, fa que has it right. In fact, I would take that to extremes. My ex cheated on me and my problem wasn't the cheating, it was the lying to cover it up! I'd have actually been OK with an open relationship, but a relationship of lies and deception? No, thanks.
When I walk into my home after work and see computer screens getting hastily shut off and being told "nothing's going on" and when I flick the screen back on being told "okay well something's going on but it's not what you think" I mean there is a point there where it's just insulting. The lying is based on an assumption that you're so stupid that you'll buy it.
I like indulgent women. I can handle it. Liars? Not so much. | |

Upon that comment, I guess I felt compelled to look down at his feet/toes. Oh dear me. I felt the blood drain out of every limb of my body. Filthy. Not just a tad yicky ~ I mean black. Ewwww. It was a long few hours after that. That's just wrong. (I wonder why he noticed my toes and not his own....weird in hindsight.)  | |

controlling behavior or words,
being drunk or high around me
having to repeat myself bc they didn't listen to my response the first time
not taking No for no when they want agreement over something I'm clearly in the "No" arena about- which goes back to controlling behaviors of course
blaming others instead of taking responsibility for their own actions and choices | |

Repulsive likely would be:
The person who snorts loudly and in front of others
Burping
Loud and aggresive and excesivly vulgar
People who eat loud
farting in public
People who hunger for attention in what many would percieve as an inappropriate way at an inappropriate time

- men who have a big belly hanging over the belt and then say in their profile that they will only date women who are "slim to average, like them"... yeah, right.
- pushy men - when a man tries to "insist" he meets me at my place for a first date... ahhhh..... NO!!!
- time, time, time - and the huge lack of it. I keep running into men who say they want a relationship, yet they can never even find the time to call you, to even meet you for a coffee.... and you will find time for a relationship when? | |
