| What someone does that really turns you off? Posted: 11/5/2009 11:55:19 PM | when women claim they're smart. There's a very select few women in the world who run around telling anyone who'll listen that they're smart, or strong and sometimes both. It's a HUGE turn off, smart women are a HUGE turn ON, but the opinionated, loud mouth, attention seeking "strong smart" women, are so god aweful.
I should say that about guys too, but im not physically attracted to men, so its not a sexual turn off, just a 'geez how did i piss god off enough to deserve experiencing this person. again!'
other than that, *shrugs*

| What someone does that really turn you off? Posted: 11/6/2009 5:14:48 AM | | I once went on a date with someone who said he only smokes occasionally, but he went out of the pub roughly every 10 min for a cigarette, leaving me alone, which already annoyed me. But to make matters worse, while he was outside he bumped into an old girlfriend he had lost contact with. And with me watching through the window, started exchanging numbers and have a flirty catch up. The next cigarette break had me leave through the back door. | |

| What someone does that really turns you off? Posted: 11/6/2009 8:13:05 AM | But Scooter, what about that nice woman you had breakfast with, who wants to learn to golf? Besides, everyone should ride a horse at least a few times in life. I can't compete with that!
A long-ago roommate of mine used to laugh that way. It was sort of like punctuation for her. She's a terrific person, but it did get on my nerves a bit by about six months or so! She probably still laughs like that, but these days we keep in touch by e-mail, so I am unaffected.
A couple of other things have come to mind.
Pointing. Making air quotes. And, of course, thumb-sucking.
Editing to add, for mari-za, I had to look that up too; in this context, I believe "bar stars" was intended as a derogatory term for people who spend a lot of time in bars/nightclubs, especially those whose social photos are mostly made up of such scenes.

| What someone does that really turn you off? Posted: 11/6/2009 9:14:26 AM | turn-offs? dishonesty is #1... also excessive talk about self or the ex, repeating same stories over and over (you don't remember telling me that yesterday?), gender stereotypes (assuming I am X because I am a woman), hiding behind a false facade of charm, dishonesty, impatience, negative thinking and complaining, nail-biting, being very overweight, 'players', a closed mind...did I say dishonesty? | |

Rude/Ignorant/Hateful people People who are stuck up or think too much of themselves-**** attitudes drive me insane. Guys who can't kiss drive me insane! Please... don't shove your tongue down my throat, or shake your tongue back and forth like your tounging my lips below my hips... eww!
That's about it. | |
