I have had relationships come and go with long periods in between...I have had seen my friends go through even longer times....I have heard the platitudes about going through alot garbage to find a gem.
But by and large the reason a person is single is because of YOU!
And by the way just because someone is in a relationship does not automatically mean they are alot happier.
I have seen people who wonder why they are single (naming no names) but if they would only take a good hard look at themselves they would see why. SERIOUSLY, ask yourself :"would you make a committment and hook up with you...yourself?"

Anal Retentive?
Like things ONLY your way?
Do you not like making compromises?
Are more interested in having YOUR needs met than looking at meeting the needs of someone else?
Do you give of yourself in everyday life?
OR on the other do you keep giving and giving and puting other first but fail to make yourself happier and take at times and say thank you?
These are things that make people single ....look in ward, not outward...and ask your self...."Would You date You?" | |

I have tried not to be single but since there is no one that is willing to get to know me, I end up single. I have been on this site for a while and all I get are game players but that is not what I want. So can anyone tell me why I am single. | |

I once met a woman and when we laid eyes on each other It was each other's essence that shone through. Good thing for me because she was attractive to beat all hell and I was, well... it was a good thing I had charm. | |

Posted: 10/24/2009 6:27:36 AM | I am single because I am no longer Naive, and I won't settle for just anything. You've experienced crap both good and bad throughout your dating life that teaches you what works for you and what doesn't....you don't necessarily dwell on the past, but u do use what you've learned to protect yourself from making the same mistakes, and that kinda narrows down the field a bit. As you get older, you know more about what u like and don't like, so less people are attractive to you...and not physically either. I've found I've become less picky about the looks (find a wider range of men attractive now than I did in my twenties), but don't put up with as much shit as I would have in my twenties....I figure if he's out there, then we'll find each other, but until we do, lets just have fun and enjoy the time that we have with friends, and for CHRIST SAKES PEOPLE......GET OUT THERE AND START MINGLING!!!!!
