And, most of the time, I wonder if I ever really will. Despite all my efforts to the contrary I feel like I'm always sitting there waiting for the call that never comes, the date that never shows up, the love denied as punishment for my sins in a past life... | |

Posted: 11/21/2005 4:09:21 PM | Yes, I am always lonesome since the love of my life left this world on June 11th this year. He died from a sudden, and totally unexpected, heart attack caused by a 4cm aneurysm on his aorta.
I miss his sparkling blue eyes; I still wait for him to come home every night, and give me a huge hug and say how very much he loves me; I miss him keeping me warm on cold nights; I miss his love, his laughter, holding hands.... just writing this has reduced me to tears. I don’t know how I’ll make it through the Holidays without him, actually I don’t care whether I make it or not. When Nathan died, a part of me did too, and each day a little more of me dies too. He is always on my mind, and I love and miss him so very much. | |

Posted: 5/3/2006 1:59:01 AM | I miss conversations that drift into the night, cuddled with each other on the couch and reading, making dinner for two, stargazing, playing a good game of Chess or Go, listening to good music and dancing the night away in the living room, a candle lit bath for two, laying in bed cuddled up and falling asleep. Maybe one day I will find all these things again. Peace and love be with you.

Lonesome yes, first time living on my own don't know what to do with myself, no interest in doing anything, finding it hard to just get out of bed everyday. Working night shift by myself isn't helping, I'm alone all day and all night, missing my kids, will be better when they come home!!! | |
