What he did to Taylor Swift was rude and uncalled for. So he liked Beyonce's clip better - big deal. We all have a different opinion on things but we don't just tell everyone how we feel all the time.

The man was out of line, he should of voiced his opinion in the news, but that's Kanye. She will be sitting in her mansion hugging her millions laughing while you peons walk around outraged. What this man did for her was negrodian gold, she probably would of let him rob her on stage if she knew it would boost her record sales, Poor her.
Also, for you that are itching to make this into a race issue. Kanye is currently engaged to a blonde white woman named Amber Rose that will be featured in elle magazine this month. The have been engaged for like a year and dating for 2 years. This was clearly a case of Kanye being over the top. He should of though about the repercussions because this woman was caucasion and a lot of caucasion people would take it as if he was trying to assualt her.
I wonder if this was a young minorty girl that he interrupted on stage, if everyone would of been so outraged, more so than feeling that it was in bad taste. Okay, yes he is older than her, big deal, she is not a baby. My other concern is how long she is going to drag out the publicity on this, probably at least for 6 months, she might even get a reality show out of it. I cant wait to see her tear up on Oprah, maybe even 2020. Meanwhile there are also blonde teenage girls high on meth prostituting out on the street at 15, but poor Taylor, she got interrupted by Kany a crazy negroe. Putting more millions in her bank account sure will cheer her up. | |

The difference with Kanye is that his antics were nasty and directed toward another. Grabbing the microphone from someone making an acceptance speech and essentially saying, "You don't deserve this award" and then handing the microphone back to her is in a different league then the other nonsense you described. That's politicising celebrity culture for other intents and purposes. It's void to class this remark in the same category. At least on deeper issues where he's been out of turn, he hasn't disguised his words like past presidents (someone gave an example earlier). And he's corrected himself for being human.

Let's presume for argument it wasn't a set-up. I suppose you liking Kanye's music justifies support for his actions. Irrespective if it helps her, her moment turned into humiliation in front of a worldwide audience. Are money and fame the only important 'assets' in your corner of the world? He inspired you to like and appreciate him, why not others to loathe him? (I think he just got carried away, not that it was mean-spirited, that's if it wasn't BS from the word go).

I doubt very highly that Kanye, out of the good of his sweet heart did that to boost the girls ratings. If anything, he'd do it to boost his own..only it backfired, because I doubt he had any idea he'd recieve the backlash that he did.
He humiliated her. Went on stage and declared in so many words that she didn't deserve the award and that it should have gone to Beyonce.
