I am a VERY brand new rider..I just bought a HD Sportster 1200 Low and have not had much chance to ride it!! I don't know the rules of group riding, heck, I don't really know the rules of riding alone, except to keep the asphalt away from the skin!! hehe..I am in Plant City! Keep me posted..Also have a friend that may be interested in going along if someone can let her ride..I 'm not confident enough to put anyone with me!!  | |

Posted: 11/2/2009 11:53:34 AM | Ken is listening!!! I am, I am. The weather is nice, that is for sure. edit again, lol. There is the Dog Pound dance this Saturday night in Lakeland. We could meet before, then ride out. What better for a "Dog Pound" than a bunch of bikes showing up? It may be worth it also to discuss starting a riders club for singles. I belong to the Southern Cruisers, VROC, and the Old Guard. How many of you, like me have gone on rides and ended up being the lone wolf with out a partner and felt a little out of place? Now it wouldn't be for meeting and hooking up, (if it happens, it happens) but for us single people to go on rides with other singles and just have fun. Hit me back.

seriously, OP< pick and place and time that works for YOU and a couple of others that are willing to help you out........ and POST IT.............. those who REALLY want to be there will make it there...... and if not, there is always "next time".
it sounds like a blast and i don't have a bike, but i can hold on tight and i make a pretty good back rest.....lol........ so i would volunteer to be a back seat rider too. i'll keep and eye on the thread to see what you decide.
