Dude...yo're an idiot. I hate to say it but you're all worried about this woman being high maintenance? And not about the fact that you dated your secretary?

You could just as easily argue that dating online is just as crazy as dating people from work. Should i call you an idiot as well?

hahahaha... I am sorry.. but I have to laugh...yes you do need to change your desire of the type of woman you want to date. It puzzles me that men are so superficial and completely disregard the important parts of a person - hint it isn't the way she looks, dresses or how much make up she smears on her face...ssshhheeeesssshhhh..

2nd advice...I would have dropped her/him off right there in that parking lot and left her/him standing...PERIOD....I will certainly not endanger my life or someone elses because a crazy person is in my car...

Good luck in your search - soul searching first that is.

No, her being a high-maintenance girl in the spirit of being uber-fashionable and all that jazz has nothing to do with it... The point was that she wanted a sugar daddy (which many times also falls into that category previously mentioned; but they're not directly related).

Whew! Thanks for clearing that up.. I was starting to get worried there, cuz I would so be the type to wear heels to The Cheesecake Factory.
But.. I certainly wouldn't demand that somebody buy something for me, or potentially cause harm to myself, my date, or my dates car, by doing something so childish and idiotic.

Trevor..kudos for keeping your cool. You're a gentleman. I don't think I would have been as nice..

Are you looking for a new Admin Assistant?

I can strut in my Manolo's and look good, even now.

I would never demand a shirt.........now, diamonds, that's a different story.

^^^ That's hilarious!

I feel bad for the OP. All of us have dated a crazy person before. I find it really low for people to insult the OP just because they may not be the demographic of women he is attracted to.

Just a thought.

Some of you may be confused. She isn't my direct secretary. She's simply the admin to my department. I rarely have to speak with her while at work. Still, not a wise choice on my part =/ An extremely attractive woman coming on to you is a hard thing to resist. Just the way it is.

Sure...let me...Afashionlady...you're an IDIOT.

But you're less of an idiot than "Trevor I like my women high maintenance and they work in the same office as I do and oh, sexual harassment never ever occurred to me".

You can throw a brick if ya want chief...BUT YOU'RE the one with the HM chick screwing up your car. You might not think of this but realize that she could very well start ugliness just cause.

I might be an idiot too...but I'll take my chances with NON-coworkers, thankyouverymuch!!!

EDIT: May I???

Just think.. Some schmuck will eventually marry this dude! Good times...

Sorry that shyt works BOTH ways...until they both grow up and see beyond the superficial they'll both be sucking big air.

So....when did you say you two were going on Jerry Springer??
High maintenance= needy, helpless, spineless, clueless and hopeless waste of time and money. Find another job, lest you enjoy being miserable.

sounds like you have more patience than I do. My mom and my car are 2 things you just dont mess with. You should have smashed some sense into her a few times via dashboard.

***Just think.. Some schmuck will eventually marry this chick! Good times...***

.... but because she is ... ***An extremely attractive woman coming on to you is a
hard thing to resist. Just the way it is.***

Hopefully, as you mature, you will realize that attractiveness and drama are not the best ingredients to a fullfilling relationship...

Good luck on the next rebound relationship...

More proof that the hot chicks can get away with soo much more...

She was an ego boost, you took the good with the bad. If you learned a lesson from this, then all was not wasted.

I have to be extremely attracted to the person. That's not going to change. And like i said before, this side of her had not presented itself until this night. I had dated her for a while prior to this with no sign of "drama". As i also said before, i like the look of the high maintenance woman, not the attitude.

Sounds terrible to say this but...realistically speaking, She's lucky you weren't a psycho-maybe she will end up in an alley someday at the rate she's going!

Trev,

Okay, if she wasn't your secretary, but an -administrator- in your department, that's a different story and beter. But I'll assume "admin" is the false-but-politically-correct term for secretary. And you guys don't talk much -- that is not as bad. Basically, when it comes to work it should be: "If an ex with a little bad blood worked in her position right now, could things be cool?" If yes, then sure, but take it slow in terms of getting to know them and how they'd be in a drama situation carrying it in to the building, etc.

I will have to say though, dating someone at work is not on the same level as dating online. I've met far stranger women from bars than I have online. There's nothing that anyone's going to hide more online (besides inaccurate pics) than any other method of meeting someone. I think dating someone at work being stupid depends on how many stupid situations it would cause if things didn't work out. Online dating -- that doesn't cause drama anymore than regular dating, and it certainly doesn't get in the way of one's work potentially.

I was kind of hoping this was a story about some woman who picked a car up and threw it into a public park.

This thread delivers!

First: don't $hit where you eat. I'm sure your name is mud there by now.

Second: Buy a vehicle with a manual transmission. You are lucky your tranny isn't lying in the middle of the road.

I'm gonna have to hit "track this thread" because I can't wait to hear what happens on Monday morning!

Have to agree with Mahogany-Rush on this one. If you ever decide to fire her, this is going to blow up in your face. She sounds psycho enough to raise a stink.

Good luck to you. And I wouldn't complain if she's a few minutes late coming back from lunch.

There's only one thing I am totally confused about...

You state you like "high maintence" ladies that is what you find attractive, so the fact that they get their hair done, have their nails done, wear high heels, appearance, appearance...

However, think very slowly on this. Don't you honestly think that therefore, she's spent all her wage so she is going to need yours? That she is going to ask you to buy her that top, (or any man she goes out with) and from there, those next pair of shoes that she so desperately wants and then the sports car when your married and the million dollar home....

And, lastly... When you ask her for sex? She'll say " Are you for real? Don't be stupid, I've just had my hair done"....

Wondering now if you just prefer a pretty face that you find attractive and a great girl that can stand on her own two feet and doesn't need your money, honey.

It's time to change my preferences in the women i date. No more of these high maintenance women. May have had somethin to do with it, eh! Sheesh...

Ya think?

It shocks me when I hear some of the things women get away with doing to men! Makes me wonder why I don't have their "game" you know?

Find a nice WOMAN with a big heart. Those spoiled little girls were always Daddy's Little Princess. Trust me.

if you throw it into park at 45mph it just goes neutral, otherwise you'd be without a car today.
