You got on me over the same thing in another thread. Get over it and move on. You are looking for someone to tell you what you want to hear and not what you need to hear. That is quite evident by how long this thread has gotten in less than a week.
You know what you have to do and that is to keep it moving. But you don't want to and in all of the posts since I posted have I seen much in your favor. You won't find what you are looking for and that is for at least 2-3 people to tell you what you want to know.
So go ahead, knock yourself out and do what you want. Go out with the ex after 14 months. I guess in about a week or two, the forum users will be seeing another thread from you asking for advice on what to do with this woman.  | |

Don't go back....let her know that when you make a decision like ending a relationship, you have to live witht he consequences....she knows you are a nice guy........because of your past she knows what to say to get to you........give me her number...I'd be happy to call and straighten her out........if you have a good guy.......be happy.you dont leave when the first better offer comes alone.....you deserve much better. | |

Posted: 9/30/2009 10:15:28 PM | Im not sure how the OP is a attention seeking troll when he asked the question, he went out with the ex, and decided it wasn't worth it , they called it quits and he went out with another woman afterward.

Next thing you know she'll be contacting me, or showing up at the PoF holloween Party I'm going to.
That would be just swell.

You will feel you were "second best". Keep the good things you feel in your heart safe for the time you find the one person that will PUT you First. Goind back hardly ever works, and you just go through all the rejection again. When she says--OOPS sorry I was wrong I don't still have those feelings and found someone new. | |

Posted: 10/8/2009 7:24:00 PM | It sounds to me like the grass wasn't sooo green after all. You were put on the back burner while she went 'exploring' and now, you're being moved to the front burner again. Of course, if you allow her to do this, she will repeat this again again.
Keep moving forward. They are an 'ex' for a reason. You deserve better. | |
