| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 7:04:35 AM | I was married to a Gemini. It was what I called a bi-polar marriage. Euphoric highs and crashing lows. I don't recall buying 7 years of roller-coaster tickets ~ maybe part of the rides were on the house??? I don't put much faith in astrology, but when the term Gemini is used, I
Every Gemini I have encounterd in my adult life has been seriously mood oriented and many of those moods are just too tough for me to cope with. Could be coincidence, I don't care to do any case studies to find out.

| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 7:43:55 AM | Gemini's are very high energy people with many ideas, and many things on go. Hard to keep up with a Gemini ;)
I'm a Gemini, nearly truest to it's form. There is no split personality, although at times because I am always on the go, I have a few days where I want do absolutely nothing to recharge.
I'm not sure I'd judge someone worthy of dating or not purely by their sign though. Sounds more like a mental instability and or an indecisive individual. Nothing worse then someone who changes their mind a 100 times a day! grrr

| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 8:21:52 AM | I don't believe in this crap, but my gf showed me The AstroTwins’ Love Zodiac p. 286 and it says Gemini women and Scorpio men are meant for each other: The Scorpio man thinks the Gemini woman is his "spiritual soul twin" and the Gemini woman thinks the Scorpio man is her "tantric love god".
Now onto better things.... come here my love god. We have some tantra to practice.

| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 10:24:59 AM | | we geminis are high energy and we love to laugh, and are very witty....lol, we are also demanding, and over bearing, but I would rather date another gemini, than lets say a cancer or scorpio..there just plain mean...lol | |

| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 10:52:25 AM | | irishgirl. I know what you mean with Cancers, my ex was a Cancer, I elaborated on her in another Forum post. I went through my own personal hell with her ! I'd love to date another Gemini, less surprises and more fun !!!! | |

| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 11:08:18 AM | | figure out the cycles, read the readings and only see him on the up ticks!! | |
|
| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 11:48:40 AM | I have been dating a Gemini man on and off for a while now, and find he is like Dr. Jekyll one minute and Mr Hyde the next. I'd say schizophrenia isn't dependent in any way whatsoever on a whichever day someone is born. The fact that an astrologer defines someone to be a Gemini is TOTALLY IRRELEVANT to whatever personality characteristics that person possesses. If you feel that it is relevant, please care to explain any logical thought processes you have in coming to that conclusion. | |
|
| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 12:32:09 PM | A little more insight on this person and why I lean towards his personality being like his sign. I didn't pay much attention to astrology until I was venting to a friend about him always changing his mind about things and they asked me if he was a Gemini, they also went on to tell me that Gemini's are moody and they are like a box of chocolates, you don't know what you're going to get. I don't know what I'm going to get until I talk to him that day and honestly have never met anyone like him. I did read up on the Gemini sign after my friend gave me some insight and well it is him to a T. Intelligent, witty, articulate, funny, loves to talk but yet he will get angry for no reason and will be sweet as pie the next. Maybe he is bi-polar, schozophrenic...(he is military also and well if he was either of those he would have been released) that's why I posted the thread to see what others have experienced, because he definately is something. | |

| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 12:39:59 PM | Soldiergirl:
I served in the Forces too, with GGHG mid to late 1980's. Also was a volunteer medic with St. John Ambulance. Me being Gemini has nothing to do with my personality, personality is developed by your environment, conditioning, social norms and life experiences. I find myself to generally be a happy, fun guy, but I do have a temper, especially if I'm defending my honour, ethics, or morals. Fortunately such things are rare occassions, so a great deal of the time all you get is this goofy, fun, happy go lucky guy !

| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 12:46:08 PM | Paul,
Well you may be right who knows, just trying to get some ideas here really and you were a reservist, he is in the US Army active duty so I know for a fact that if he had something along those lines it would have been picked up on. I actually had a friend who was released from one of the Reserve units in TO because she was bi-polar...I'm just trying to decide if enough is enough with his personality, a person can take so much ya know.....
|
| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 12:51:56 PM | Well Soldiergirl99 have you considered that the pressures involved with active combat deployments in Iraq and Afganistan may be the underlying cause. I at one point considered even at my age of re enlisting, to help out over there, as a medic. But knowing me I'd get my sorry butt blown off trying to rescue some of the guys. And I'n not sure I could handle that pressure. Have you discussed this with a professional ? I don't think the answers you seek, will be found out here ! | |

| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 12:59:44 PM | | Omg...yes been dating one for several months, and he is crazy. One minute he is sating I love you, then switches to maybe...I dont know etc. etc. He has these emotional melt downs once a week too, then in the morning he is fine...oh baby I miss you crap. The man is truly twins, who knows who will show up for dinner. He drives me crazy, but to his credit he really is a sweet guy 90% of the time. Who knows!!! Good luck! and if you are patient and loving you will win him over. | |
|
| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 1:12:51 PM | Karen,
Ha you sound just like me! I love you, then he's not sure etc etc...he actually went from at the beginning if I would get married when we deploy at the same time to A-stan to getting so moody and not talking to me altogether for no reason. He drives me nuts. I back off and give him his space and seems when I do he bombards me with I miss you, etc etc..and yes he is sweet about 80% of the time but when that other side comes out I
Paul,
He has seen alot of combat yes and yes I sometimes wonder if that is what it is but then that might be PTSD not being bi-polar. I haven't gone to talk to anyone about this, I'm not at the point where i would do something like that yet...
|
| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 1:20:46 PM | Well woman don't bloody wait till it becomes something to deal with, I have PTSD stemming from an entirely different traumatic issue, until recently I didn't react well to stress at all. Go talk with a professional seriously, don't mess around with this stuff, it's serious. At least get in the know yourself about it. I'd hate to see two of my "brothers/family" split apart because the important stuff wasn't dealt with properly. I don't know you, but because you wear the uniform, it kinda makes you family. Know what I mean ?

| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 1:38:52 PM | | I,my brother,my sister and our stepdad ....we're all Geminis...its scarey at times,other are funny | |
|
| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 2:29:18 PM | I'm a Gemini, but won't date one. The male Geminis are just too much hassle to bother with, honestly - they just need too much attention. At least, IME. I tend to cringe and rethink the situation when I hear a guy was born in that window.
Got a history with Scorpios too - great upside socially, horrible downside emotionally. Good in bed tho. *shrug*

| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 2:52:13 PM | | i cant beleive you guys put soo much into this zodiac sign stuff.. like, seriously? the time of year you were born determines what kind of person you are? lol.............................. | |

sounds just like a Virgo to me. Intelligent, funny, flipcase...
Or maybe an Aries. Or a Cancer. Capricorn? maybe...or even a Pisces. Oh, Taurus too...Don't forget the Sags and Libras...or any other human. Except the Scorpios. My dog is a Scorpio and he's perfect. Oh! what am I saying...he's a dog...
Give the Geminis a break already.

| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 3:07:33 PM | Hey, That is complete bull..

| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 4:27:58 PM | Look up Personality or Character Disorder, really read it! I was married to one for 13 years and know exactly what you are talking about. It is scary but read the link below:

Good luck and IF he has these traits, Please RUN, don't walk!

| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 4:42:42 PM | pinkoleander is right. What's up with all the Gemini threads?
If you can't understand what it is to date a Gemini, OP, remove yourself from the equation. But honestly, maybe your boyfriend is psychotic and his tendencies should not be blamed on the fact that he is a Gemini. Don't depend on sun signs to answer your question, blame problems on, or pick your mate.
|
| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 4:54:10 PM | | Hi, dated a Gemini for 2 years, showed the same symptons - but you have to admit they are charming but watch out when the other twin comes out. They hold a grudge and won't let go. They will NOT give into anything. I found that this one was also a little on the selfish side. | |

| Dating a Gemini Posted: 9/28/2009 5:19:14 PM | | There are Geminis and then there are people with manic-depressive behaviors. Don't look at astrology for much, honey. | |

Good luck and IF he has these traits, Please RUN, don't walk!
You mean if he or she has these traits run...
My last relationship was with a Gemini only to find out near the end that she also had ADHD and a bit of OCD. Talk about a rollercoaster ride but also the most amused I have ever been.
