| Facebook Fights? Posted: 9/30/2009 3:38:18 PM | Their reactions are very "high school" ish. It's sad to imagine grown adults getting thier panties all in bunches over a couple great, nostalgic pictures of them having fun in thier younger days.
If I was you, I'd go to the party, I'd dress up really good and I'd have alot of fun! Who cares what they think. And who knows, they may come to you and say how bad they feel about getting angry and you all may have a great time together? Stranger things have happened.
Whatever you do, don't apologise to them again.

| Facebook Fights? Posted: 9/30/2009 6:41:15 PM | | I think it's always safe to say, that you never put pictures of other people (even your own kids/grandkids) without permission. I know we can do it without thinking but really, it's not up to us to decide if they want to be online for all to see. | |

| Facebook Fights? Posted: 9/30/2009 8:29:48 PM | You don't put other people's pictures on the internet without their permission. That's basic internet etiquette these days. | |

| Facebook Fights? Posted: 11/3/2009 7:34:42 PM | | Maybe they felt like you were trying to make fun of them? You are still slim, carefree, and single, and maybe you look more similar to the old 10 year photos than they do now. In which case, I can see how it might be insensitive of you to post them on facebook for all of their contacts to see now. Maybe they are thinking you are trying to point out how old, fat, and/or stodgy they are now compared to the old days? People don't just care about how cute they look in the picture. It can also remind them of how uncute they are now... | |

| Facebook Fights? Posted: 11/3/2009 9:01:18 PM | People sure do love their drama, don't they. Really a major tempest in a teapot.
Clearly you're not in "the club" anymore. Find yourself a new club.

| Facebook Fights? Posted: 11/4/2009 12:11:51 AM | | I'm not sure why they would get upset unless the pictures showed them drunk or in a bad way, but some people just don't like their pics shown in a public forum. I think they over reacted and you should go to the party at least to keep the gossips in check. You can simply tell them you meant no harm and thought the pics were a great way to remember the good old days and out of respect for them you took them down. I know what it is like to be the single one in the group too, they try that pity crap sometimes about me not giving up and I'll find someone someday. They get really shocked when I tell them I'm happy and love my life, they are in their own little bubble world as another poster said and just can't relate to people outside their norm. | |

| Facebook Fights? Posted: 11/4/2009 2:10:09 PM | Wasn't their a little controversy a short while ago where Facebook was trying claim photos as their porperty? Didn't work out well for them from what I understand. Maybe that is what lodged the board up your griends' asses.
What's the big deal...they already have pictures of themselves on their profiles.

| Facebook Fights? Posted: 11/4/2009 10:56:48 PM | | You should have ask them...but you apologised. They're probably old miserable hags now married ...kiddin" LOL | |

| Facebook Fights? Posted: 11/4/2009 11:11:03 PM | Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh!
take down the pics... ..blur out the face and replace the faces with Happy Faces. re-post the new altered pics.
see what sort of reaction you will get then....lol..........no serioulsy..do it!
I think these gals are nuts unless they were pimply fat chicks in days gone by and are ashamed of their looks. Did any of them get a nose job or boob job since the pics were taken?....
your pics...keep the peace and take them down and go to the party and never speak of it again.....or... BLOCK them and post the pics....
