Excellent analyses, all. Thank you for setting me straight. You're right, by and large, and I think I'm man enough to stand corrected. I was troubled enough about this whole thing that I thought it worth sharing and it was.

Once again, thanks.

PS I'm not a neuropsychologist. A friend of mine is.

It troubles me that your friend the neuropsychologist is willing to make a diagnosis without ever having met the woman. I work in the mental health field myself and as a rule, do not go around diagnosing people based on what others share with me. That is unless, you happened to have a copy of her MRI or PET handy and gave those to your friend?

But initially what does a neuropsychologist gotta do with all of this? Are you a neuropsychologist or are you just pretending to be one?
Twinle twinkle little star, stupid stupid that you are. This what he wrote and I'll try to break it down in little words so you can comprehend it.
So I described everything that I knew about her to a friend of mine who's an excellent neuropsych.
He said his friend was a nueropsycholigist. Can your understand that.

I would strongly suggest you return to school to relearn your reading comprehension skils.

OP, do you ever have that dream where you're bloody from multiple open wounds and jumped into a pond filled with piranhas? Yeah, cuz it looks that way from reading the replies to your posts. All I have to say is Tough Crowd!!! They (most) are not wrong, just tough...

So, I have a question: No worries, it's a simple question - I like simple. Simple makes me happy, complications hurt my head and it's just not good.

If you "LOVE" this woman, as you've claimed, why are you judging her? Better yet, why are you judging the unfortunate events in her life? Furthermore, why are you judging her AND coming onto a dating site to spout her misfortunes to a bunch of strangers????

Just curious

-T

BTW - Self proclaimed "nice guy, good guy, excellent character..." et cetera, usually has a congregation of ONE. Just a thought.

Dude. That was beautiful. I'd like to shake your hand and subscribe to your newsletter. :P

Sometimes people claim that they LOVE someone with all their heart and soul, but when it comes right down to it if they get spurned or their feelings aren't returned in kind, that love disappears in a heartbeat and things get ugly.

I don't believe that the neuropsychologist diagnosed anything....except maybe dysfunction....which isn't really a diagnosis.

OP called the lady a loony-tune.....that has a connotation, but still no diagnosis.

I have a "multiple" diagnosis.....yet, I have never had an MRI or PET, although I would jump at the chance to see where my brain is "different" than "normal". Could be because I live in Canada.

Like OP said....it was a "driveby" conversation.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^Actually, he titled the thread "driveby diagnosis" not "driveby conversation." PET is a fascinating tool to be sure. I'm sorry your healthcare (I'm presuming that's what you mean by Canada) doesn't allow for that research tool.
