hey songbird and drummer girl we'd have a really cool band if we got together to jam , It would be sweet . I'd be the one on stage not getting any attention :(
I'm sure there would be a couple of people WAY BACK in the cheap seats crushing on you Rocklive. Just kidding.  Sweet idea

Its very sweet and romantic. Musicians seem to be very passionate too... They seem to put their all into what they're doing, and that I find to be a huge turn on..  | |

Posted: 10/19/2005 6:09:09 AM | I think most of you who are stating that "most people who play music do it for the chicks", or are "sluts" are missing the point. I think most fellow musicians would agree with me that playing an instrument (any one) seriously is like a form of therapy.
I've been playing for about eight years, and have played quite a few shows (quite a few as in I lost count) and I have never once picked up a girl at a concert, so sure, women may like guys in bands, but I havent' recieved that kind of attention from them.... yet.
I have way too much respect for myself and for music to use something that has given me so much for such a shallow purpose... I don't even know where I'd be without music. | |

Posted: 10/19/2005 9:21:52 AM | Not sure; my ex is in a band, has played with the same guys at the same bars for 20+ years; I had his complete and undivided attention for oh, all of 6 months; we had a kid, so now I'm tied to him forever, and it amazes me the amount of chicks he STILL gets; should have known he wasn't that great of a catch to have the band, the harley, the house & the looks & still be single...
