Wench had a great idea regarding the free dinner if you are attending by yourself. Print your coupon and come a little early as there will be other people coming alone who want to have dinner at Ernie's.

Please be ready for the speed dating (or speed 'meeting', as I prefer to call it!) Remember, this night is allllllllll about meeting NEW FRIENDS, male OR female!
Since (as I hear) this a a slightly UPSCALE venue......it would be nice to 'gussy up' a bit.....but ANY attire is welcome.....just wear what you feel comfortable (and sexy ) in!
I'll see ya at the Speed Thing table......we are so looking forward to this NEW exciting venue......and will bring you the best time possible!
We have 4 regular and 2 swing greeters to assist.....if any decide that they would like to help.....even on the night of the party.....throw your HAT in the ring! | |

I will answer for Lucy (for now)......that greeters and speed meeters are NEEDED!
Again, as a 'greeter', we would only ask you to spare 1/2 hour of your time just to make others feel welcome. Speed meeting will be happening, too...that's my job. Instructions will be at the sign-in table.
There is over 100 of you......and only a few of us hosts and greeters.  It looks like we have a great deal of newcomers......so, we will need as much help as possible to make this party the success that we are striving for! 
We want everyone to go home with a great feeling of POF camraderie......and at least a few new friends!  | |

Posted: 11/13/2009 5:39:40 PM | Kozaki, we're asking anyone who wishes to participate in the Speed Meeting to arrive by 8:30. Printed instructions will be available and Linda (LHL) will be overseeing that entertainment and answering any questions you may have.
Greeting is easy. Just smile, say "hi", ask the people to sign in and ask if they want a glow bracelet or a name tag. We hope to have at least 2 people at the greeters table at all times until about 10:30 so you won't be alone and we only need you for about 30 minutes.

We have an extra meet and greet game planned......details tomorrow. (If my printer doesn't go on strike. )
If you are alone.....don't be deterred. Stay with us at the greeter table, we would be SO glad to have your assistance.
It is a fact.....you get out of POF parties.....what you put into them. Please everyone, put a special effort into saying and accepting a 'Hello'!' from any member. Even if they DON'T float your boat. We're here....for the ambiance! | |

But, hey.....it's a club.....and there will be many more people there than just us.
We have capacity for 150 or so, from what I hear, in our 'reserved area'. Looks like we will be packing the joint!
Remember guys.......there will be single women coming with dinner vouchers to share....
Reminder that we are planning dinner meet for 7:00 ish, speed meeting for 8:30....and entertainment starts at 10:00. There will be plenty of good quality time to get to know each other!
The greeters etc can all relax after 10:00. We need some down time, too! If you are a late arrival.....Lucy and I will still be seated near the door, so look for us! | |

Posted: 11/14/2009 10:36:38 AM | freaky...I did notice at least 3 guys in their 20's signed up for the party. I can't mention names here but look through the pics and click on their screen name and it will take you directly to their profile.
There will be another event in the bar at Ernie's tonight...The Blue Party....which should attract a younger crowd. I'm also told there will be 2 DJ's....Pannos and Adnan Medic. Stop by and check out all the "man candy".
I look forward to meeting a lot of people in the Mediterranean Room at 7:00 ish for dinner.
