| Happy in your skin? Posted: 10/14/2009 11:41:33 AM | | My take on this is that the way people feel about their own skin differs from place to place and is largly affected by social circumstances. One of the worst places to feel good about the way you look is right here in the UK! take it from someone like me who has been to over 30 countries and seen how enviromental and social factors shapes how people react to being over weight, having a big nose, height, legs, teeth etc.Ive been in societies where men judge women by how big their "backsides" are without a care about their face.In some,a good looking man is someone who is "balding".There are probably few people in the UK under 60 who if God said to them "tell me anything you want me to change about the way you look and I will do it" who would reply "leave me exactly as I am".Im happy in my own skin but I wouldnt mind having curly hair! lol | |

| Happy in your skin? Posted: 10/14/2009 3:34:41 PM | kinda happy what im unhappy about is my height (5ft 1.5inches effectively). well im happy with the way i am, just that of course 99.999 % of the women out there prefer taller guys. | |

| Happy in your skin? Posted: 10/14/2009 3:44:20 PM | Message 55, I doubt those 99.999% of women would be happy with your height unless you were at least 6ft 4", so 99.999% of the women on here are unhappy with 95% of the men on here.
(please note the percentages are completely arbitrary).
However, I am very happy being me, a not too handsome little short arse with a hamster sized appendage, I really wouldn't want to be anyone else. The fact is I can't be anybody else, so I have to be happy with who I am. | |
