This stuff takes time. Be patient. Guys are mainly tools, so you are going to have to sort through a bunch of losers to find the one winner. Online is kinda like real life.

That said…your profile is great. Your photos and name and headline still are not.
TRY CLASSY for a few weeks….that means classy photos and classy name. The new full bod photo with your friend doesn’t do you justice. The friend is your competition.
Groovy isn’t a classy name…it’s a hippie name. Foxx is not classy. It’s cheesy and easy….and I’m guessing you’re not wanting Mac and Cheese men.

Yeah, I have a little trouble believing this. I have female friends on this site that make their profiles sound as stupid as possible and don't even post pictures, and yet they still get plenty of email.
It's not this site, it's dating in general. It's not a romance movie, you don't find your match with the first email. It's been a month since you got your review, did you want to be married by now?

Well, I am a hippie, but I'm not cheesy and/or easy. The name is more like, hey, I'm a foxxy hippie! Hehe
Also, the interests make up for who I am. I'm not gonna change that. I did do a little editing....but yeah.
I really don't understand the dynamics of this site, and can't think of why I'm still not getting many responses. My only thought is perhaps it's the region? Perhaps men in California are looking for something else? That's the only thing I can really think of at this point. I have been single for like, 4 years now. Perhaps it's time to relocate! Hehe!

Posted: 11/4/2009 7:58:40 PM | I was on here an entire month before I knew there were headlines. And I'd say most guys our age wouldn't look at interests (I don't!). You can't focus on that so much...that's just stuff to smooth out a rough profile.
I can't believe you're not getting any email. Do you mean none, zip, zero, nada? As in, your email is absolutely empty all the time? Or do you actually mean that you're not getting email from the types of guys you want? Clarify please.
If you're seriously getting no email at all, then delete all your pictures, and delete all the text in your profile, and start again. Right now your Halloween pics aren't as great as your old pics, and your profile seems sort of forced. Besides, sometimes it's good to experiment with different styles for profiles. Since this one isn't working for you, then scrap it and start over.
Try the suggested 3-4 paragraphs in the profile writing tips at the top of the forum in green font. Just try it out, and save the old profile to a Word document. If you can't get your 4 paragraphs to work well enough, you can always switch back. | |

Some men will probably look at you and think "she should have marked a few extra pounds." I'm not a **** and I don't think I'm hot shit to be saying this, but I work with a group of guys age 27-34 and I know what they would say if they would see that picture.

Her earlier full body shot showed that she's certainly average. The current halloween pic suffers from being a white costume, but to say she's "a few extra pounds"? Yeah, I'd have to disagree with you there.

Your trying to be funny by writting a profile like they won a prize the sad thing is lots of people do this and its not original. Point of a profile is to be sweet and short and to get the readers attention. How can you get there attention when they cant find anything in common with you because you have written nothing about you.
Talk about the type of guy your looking for.
Talk about your children
Write a paragraph about some of your interest in your interest section. Places you have been.
Talk about you and what you do for work
Your pics are nice but when I look at pic 1 then pic 3,4 you dont look the same because you have the pic brightened where it hides the imperfections.
