Posted: 10/10/2009 10:23:01 PM | Most men do indeed do smooshy. But we don't do smooshy for just anyone. We only admit smooshy-ness for select people.
Hard to maintain the tough manly image of protector/hunter-gatherer/solid shoulder to lean on when times are tough ... if you do the opposite and appear to be emotional and sensitive. So we save that until we trust.
To start the ball, though, I will cede that I still am effected every single time I hear the song "Smoke gets in your eyes" by The Platters. Every since the movie "Always", I have been effected by that song. | |

Sonhos, I know you read these threads still, even if you don't post. You're my best friend and you're leaving in 2 days. I don't know what to say to you..or how to say goodbye. A whole lot of horrible passed through my life recently and it was you that saved me from it. When I wanted to give up, you were there. When the world was dark you made it bright. My words..or writing..can never convey what I think of you or how much you meant to me in the past year.

Lately, i have lost completely faith in finding somebody and have no real desire to do so. I feel that my celibacy has become a confortable prison cell from which i really want to get out of, but at the same time, am scared to leave.
That's why i'm still single. and lonely too. and that i only really care about working my ass off, so i can keep my mind off women and finding a relationship. It's my drug.
I believe that women see that through me and as a result don't want to take a chance on me. And i can't really blame them for it. | |

So. Without a doubt my personal love theme song is "Somebody" by Depeeche Mode. However, I just changed all the "she's" to "he's".
