| Songs that reflect YOU to the opposite sex Posted: 10/12/2009 10:11:15 AM | Savage Garden - Affirmation
I believe the sun should never set upon an argument I believe we place our happiness in other people's hands I believe that junk food tastes so good because it's bad for you I believe your parents did the best job they knew how to do I believe that beauty magazines promote low self esteem I believe I'm loved when I'm completely by myself alone
I believe in Karma what you give is what you get returned I believe you can't appreciate real love until you've been burned I believe the grass is no more greener on the other side I believe you don't know what you've got until you say goodbye
I believe you can't control or choose your sexuality I believe that trust is more important than monogamy I believe your most attractive features are your heart and soul I believe that family is worth more than money or gold I believe the struggle for financial freedom is unfair I believe the only ones who disagree are millionaires
I believe in Karma what you give is what you get returned I believe you can't appreciate real love until you've been burned I believe the grass is no more greener on the other side I believe you don't know what you've got until you say goodbye
I believe forgiveness is the key to your own happiness I believe that wedded bliss negates the need to be undressed I believe that God does not endorse TV evangelists I believe in love surviving death into eternity
I believe in Karma what you give is what you get returned I believe you can't appreciate real love until you've been burned I believe the grass is no more greener on the other side I believe you don't know what you've got until you say goodbye

| Songs that reflect YOU to the opposite sex Posted: 10/13/2009 11:55:28 AM | While I can find similarities to myself in many of the above songs, the one that reflects me so well (and I am VERY surprised no one posted it as yet) is B!tch by Meredith Brooks.
I hate the world today You're so good to me I know but I can't change tried to tell you but you look at me like maybe I'm an angel underneath innocent and sweet Yesterday I cried You must have been relieved to see the softer side I can understand how you'd be so confused I don't envy you I'm a little bit of everything all rolled into one
Chorus: I'm a b!tch, I'm a lover I'm a child, I'm a mother I'm a sinner, I'm a saint I do not feel ashamed I'm your health, I'm your dream I'm nothing in between You know you wouldn't want it any other way
So take me as I am This may mean you'll have to be a stronger man Rest assured that when I start to make you nervous and I'm going to extremes tomorrow I will change and today won't mean a thing
Chorus
Just when you think you've got me figured out the season's already changing I think it's cool you do what you do and don't try to save me
Chorus
I'm a b!tch, I'm a tease I'm a goddess on my knees when you hurt, when you suffer I'm your angel undercover I've been numbed, I'm revived can't say I'm not alive You know I wouldn't want it any other way

| Songs that reflect YOU to the opposite sex Posted: 10/14/2009 9:39:18 PM | Thats Enough for Me...........by Paul Williams
If I can make you cry If I can fill your eyes with pleasure just by holding you In the early hours of morning When the day that lies ahead's not quite begun Ah well, that's enough for me That's all the hero I need be I smile to think of you and me You and I And how our, pleasure makes you cry
If I can make you smile If I can move you close to laughter with a word or two When your day's been filled with strangers And the castles that you've built all tumbled down Ah well, that's enough for me That's all the hero I need be I smile to think of you and me You and I And how our pleasure makes you cry
And when the world has got me down And I've almost lost the will to try I may look sad and I may frown But I still find comfort in your waiting Your hello And your goodbye And how our pleasure makes you cry
And when I wake to you And I pretend that I don't know how you've been watching me All the time that I lay sleeping By the loving look that lingers in your eye Ah well, that's enough for me That's all the hero I need be I smile to think of you and me You and I And how our pleasure makes me cry

| Juicy Posted: 10/17/2009 1:04:00 AM | "Juicy" by Anti Elvis (thanks to Biggie) and thanks to Daisy..for not suing me.
Yeah, this song is dedicated to all the teachers that told me I'd never amount to nothin', to all the people that lived above the buildings that I was hustlin' in front of that called the police on me when I was just tryin' to make some money to feed my son, and all the POF'ers in the struggle, you know what I'm sayin'?
Uh-ha, it's all good baby bay-bee, uh
It was all a dream I used to read Dating magazine Anti Elvis and Daisy Bell up in the limousine Hangin' pictures on my wall Every Saturday POF attack , Mr. Duffster at the mall I let my tape rock 'til my tape popped Smokin' weed and bamboo, sippin' on private stock Way back, when I had the red and black lumberjack With the hat to match Remember Rappin' Duke, duh-ha, duh-ha You never thought that POF would take it this far Now I'm in the limelight 'cause I date tight Time to get paid, blow up like the World Trade Born sinner, the opposite of a winner Remember when I used to eat sardines for dinner Peace to Bird B, & Backcountry Funkmaster Flex, I love Crystal Klee... I'm blowin' up like you thought I would Call the crib, same number same hood It's all good
Uh, and if you don't know, now you know, POF'er,
You know very well who you are Don't let em hold you down, reach for the stars You had a goal, but not that many 'cause you're the only one I'll give you good and plenty
I made the change from common beef To up close and personal with Robin Leach And I'm far from cheap, I smoke skunk with my peeps all day Spread love, it's the C Spot way The Moet and Alize keep me pissy Girls used to diss me Now they write letters 'cause they miss me I never thought it could happen, this rappin' stuff I came from E town..I was packin' gats and stuff Now honies play me close like butter played toast From the Mississippi down to the east coast Condos in The C, indo for weeks Sold out seats to hear Anti E speak Livin' life without fear Puttin' 5 karats in my Daisy Bell's ear Lunches, brunches, interviews by the pool Considered a fool 'cause I smoked up in high school Stereotypes of a Calgarian misunderstood And it's still all good
Uh...and if you don't know, now you know, date'r

| Juicy Posted: 10/17/2009 9:02:58 AM | Does anyone know a good lawyer?
Wait a sec........5 Karats???? Woah!
OT: After hearing this song a lot this week, I'm with Little Miss F-ing Sunshine (always chuckle at that name, lol) on the Michael Buble song "I just haven't met you yet." I know.....it would fit better if I was a guy.
It's my headline and if they still had Imeem on here, I'd put it on my profile.
He looks like a dream with a voice like buttah..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1AJmKkU5POA

| Songs that reflect YOU to the opposite sex Posted: 10/20/2009 12:00:05 PM | I would have to agree with Poster 25 - "I Want a Man" by Lace is pretty accurate.
Here we go...
Well I know this guy, we have a real good time. I let him get a little close but, Do I like him? Yes! Do I love him? No! We don't fight and all my friends say we look good together, But try as I might I just don't see me with him forever.
Chorus: I don't want a man I can live with, I want a love that leaves no room for doubt. I don't want a man I can live with, I want a man that I can't live without.
Well I know this other guy, the kind that mamma's like, He wears a money suit! He wants to marry me, he's got money to boot! Imagine that, I'd have a life that's easy to get used to. Matter-a-fact there's a real good reason I don't choose to.
Chorus: I don't want a man I can live with, I want a love that leaves no room for doubt. I don't want a man I can live with, I want a man that I can't live without.
I can't live without. I don't want somebody (want somebody), just to have somebody. (just to have somebody) That's how I am, I'm that kind of girl. Even if it takes all the time in the world!
I don't want a man I can live with, I want a love that leaves no room for doubt. (I want a love, I only want a real thing) I don't want a man I can live with, I want a man that I can't live without. (That I can't live without) Umm...yes I do! I want a man that I can't live without.
I want a man...
(I want a man) Well I know this guy, we have a real good time. (I want a man) Well I know this other guy, he makes me feel real nice. (I want a man) And theres this guy I like, but do I love him? No! Cuz I want a man!
I want a man! (fading)

I never asked for nothin I don't demand of myself Honesty, loyalty, friends and then wealth Death before dishonor and I tell you what else I tighten my belt 'fore I beg for help
even though i'm a huge hip hop fan, i still knew that country song, canadian content rules made sure of that.
