When a three point turn - turns into a 9 point turn, is it time to think about changing your car or doing a driving course ???

Dear gawd if that was the case nearly 95% of drivers would be off the road.

Vehicular incompetance isnt purely within the automotive control of Volvo drivers any longer.

And those same dumbasses who cant do a 3 point turn... cant drive a freakin manual either.

oops... wha do I do? it just like... stopped!

In particular, and I know I am generalising, Four Wheel Drive vehicles ... Can't drive one don't own one until you can !!!

Well Im a 4x4 fan.
I like em and I dont do mud or holes in the road... I just look good driving it hehe...
*tosses hair*

Annnnnd... they're big ... yeah BIG...
... makes me feel like Im in a Monster truck arena...
... ready to annihilate your little matchbox car ass if you try to cut me off or gimme any grief

You are MINE !!

*tries to keep her road rage under control*

I'll even tackle a semi in one of those things... lol... works every time... gal driving 4x4 and fluttering eyelashes gets right of way to truckie.
... woot!

In my view everyone should have to learn on and take their driving tests in a manual. Learn the basics and the move on to an easy automatic. There are so many people out there who learned on autos and would be dangerous in a manual.

Surely if you pass your test in an automatic you are not allowed to drive a manual??
I have always driven a manual, I kid myself that its cos driving an automatic is boring, but really I think I just like the feel of the gear stick in my hand!

That sounds like a lot of effort. I prefer to just sit back and enjoy the experience.

Can you imagine how hard those larger family 4x4's would be to drive if they were all manual and had NO power steering?...

after a 9 point turn your arms would be jelly....

then you wouldn't see as many in the tight city streets,I'll bet....

4WD's or Collins St. tractors as they are known are a real sore point in the city.First the f***kers block your vision.Secondly i was at the supermarket one day waiting to back out and for some dumb reason this stupid b**** in a 4wd decides to back into the car park in front of me and bang the towbar went straight though the grill and radiator of my car. Dumbarse woman said "oh i didn't realise we had a towbar".You cant tell me that 4wd has been off the bitumen.

Oh I hear you Yellowjack.

I am totally sick of them taking up too much parking space and making it nigh on impossible to pull out and reverse properly. The long wheel bases I'm talking about.

I used to drive my boyfriend's F150 in the country and I always made sure I parked it away from the other cars to give them a chance to pull out properly.

I drive a lot for my job and I have seen 17 point turns before. It is hard to watch without cringing - in fact, I have offered a few times to assist these people get their cars out of the tight spot they're in. They're usually older women without much driving experience who find themselves parked in somewhere.

Yeah Aqua - have to admit, some parking spaces are getting smaller and are catering to the Hyundai Getz.

Where I live there are more of those DAMN Humvee's then you can shake a stick at!!
I am always amazed at how nice and clean they they are, like they have never seen a dirt road in their life!!
And don't get me started on the snorkles on some of them!!
There isn't a swamp near her for hundreds of miles!!
